Then Uncle Jesse and Rebecca almost got married in Las Vegas

After Jesse and Rebecca finally said “I love you” to each other at a fabulous hotel in Las Vegas, Jesse got a little over-excited. He proposed right there on the spot during the two-part episode, “Luck be a Lady,” and Rebecca said yes.

These two wanted to keep their marriage a secret, though, even from Danny and the girls. They snuck around getting rings and Rebecca got a dress… there’s one problem. When they finally get to the altar, Rebecca thinks they rushed way too much and runs away.

They decide to postpone the wedding but they’re still in love! It takes them a few more episodes before Jesse proposes for real and they get married for real — in a church with all their loved ones.

They finally got married in a church after a tomato and skydiving incident

In the two-part Season 4 episode, titled “The Wedding,” Rebecca Donaldson and Jesse Katsopolis finally tie the knot. Being the wild rocker that he is, though, Uncle Jesse decides he needs one more adventure before going to the chapel. He goes skydiving. Then, he gets stuck in a tree.

While everyone is waiting for Becky to walk down the aisle, Becky, Danny, and Joey are panicking because Jesse is still missing. He eventually frees himself, lands in a tomato truck, and gets thrown in jail.

After Rebecca picks him up and Jesse apologizes, the two get married, even showcasing a special version of The Beach Boys’ song, “Forever.” That’s just the beginning of their adventure, together, though. Becky and him move into the attic, where they eventually raise their twin boys, Nicky and Alex.

Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky returned for the Netflix spinoff series

Thanks to Netflix’s original series, fans learned what happened after the finale of the beloved sitcom. The Tanner sisters are all grown up. DJ is a mother of three and a veterinarian and Stephanie is a musician with a daughter on the way.

This couple returned for the spinoff series, Fuller House, where they adopted another daughter after raising the twins. Aunt Becky was noticeably missing from the later seasons, though, due to Lori Loughlin’s college admissions scandal.

Uncle Jesse was still around, though, offering support for DJ and Stephanie as they navigated adulthood and parenting. Most episodes of Full House are available for streaming on Hulu. All five seasons of the Netflix original spinoff series, Fuller House, are available on the streaming platform, Netflix.
