Benson and G-Eazy were spotted holding hands and kissing in May 2020. By February 2021, Benson had unfollowed G-Eazy on Instagram, telling fans that the couple had broken up.
In an October 2020 interview with ET, the rapper couldn’t stop gushing about his girlfriend.
“She’s an exceptionally talented person in many different spaces,” G-Eazy said, revealing that he and Benson were working on making music together. “She’s a special one. Obviously, she’s a great actress, but, you know, getting to work with her and putting her in front of a microphone and watching her sing so effortlessly, she has this very special tone of voice and texture and something that’s very innate to her given that’s not her first job or what she’s known for.”
He added, “It just blew me away that you can have such a hidden, special talent that the world doesn’t get to see as often.”

She wore light denim jeans, a black crop top, and a black leather jacket, while he kept cozy in a brown turtleneck sweater and a black beanie. Benson sipped from what looked like an iced coffee while G-Eazy had a purple smoothie.
The former couple did not seem concerned about being photographed together since they dined outside. They looked casual and comfortable with one another.
