Prolific actress Gabrielle Union and retired NBA superstar Dwyane Wade have gone through their fair share of trials and tribulations. However, these days the duo seems to have figured it all out.

Union and Wade often showcase their loving relationship and home life on social media. Also, after her recent firing from America’s Got Talent, seemingly because she spoke out against the show’s toxic work environment, Wade was the very first person to come to his wife’s defense.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have known each other for over a decade. They met at a charity event in 2009 and stayed together until they broke up briefly in 2013. When they got back together later that same year– Wade popped the question and the duo wed Aug. 30, 2014.

Together, the pair has four children. Wade has three boys Zaire, Zion, and Xavier from a previous relationship and the couple has a daughter, Kaavia James who was born Nov. 7, 2018, via surrogate. The Bring It On alum has been candid about her fertility struggles having suffering many miscarriages. She’s also revealed some of the ups and downs of her relationship.

“My ‘perfect’ relationship isn’t the next person’s. Stop comparing your life, your love, and your marriage,” she told Ebony Magazine. “People are like ‘goals’; me and D are like, ‘WTF?’ We’ve kind of figured it out now, but I guess maybe we should tweet live from couples’ therapy.”

Dwyane Wade is worth $120 million

The now-retired NBA star burst onto the scene in the early 2000s when he led Marquette University to their first Final Four appearance in 25 years. Though Wade had always been a skilled basketball player, it wasn’t until his college years that his talent really began to show. He would go on to get drafted by the Miami Heat in 2003, playing there before playing for the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers before retiring.

As a result of his endorsements and his NBA salary– Wade is worth an astounding $120 million — $100 million more than his highly successful wife.
