Garcelle Beauvais Turns Heads in Atlanta With Youthful Glow and Trendy Denim Look
Garcelle Beauvais is promoting her new Lifetime movie, Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted By Love. The rom-com stars The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, who’s also executive producing the film via her production company’s three-movie partnership with Lifetime. In addition to her acting and producing roles, the 57-year-old manages Garcelle Beauvais Productions. Along the way, fans are privy to her stunning style choices.
Beauvais is giving us a lesson in style selection as she promotes Tempted By Love. The Haitian actor’s most recent look is especially fun and youthful. As Beauvais sat down with The Big Tigger Morning Show with Jazzy McBee, she donned a full denim dress look, complete with an urban-inspired grommeted belt at her chest. Beauvais’ overall look was giving “20-something” in the best way.
The Black Girl Missing star wore her brown-red hair in a straight, sleek style and kept her accessories simple with just a few silver rings. Her pink cheeks and lip enhanced her natural glow as she promoted the film. Tempted By Love follows Ava (Beauvais), a chef who returns home from Europe to care for her elderly aunt in South Carolina. Her driver (Vaughn W. Hebron) picks her up from the airport, and they make an unexpected, steamy connection. Ava must weight her personal and professional choices as she decides what and who to pursue.
As Beauvais has been promoting Tempted By Love on August 13-15, she’s debuted 10 stunning looks. On August 14, she stopped for photographers while wearing a black mini dress and baby blue blazer with matching shoes. The Coming to America star also wore an Audrey Hepburn-inspired black dress with a white collar and Swiss dot overlay. The same day, Beauvais donned a neon green oversized pant suit.
As Beauvais debuted even more outfits on August 14, she stopped by Good Morning America to discuss the film. The Wild Wild West actor explained Tempted By Love‘s literary inspiration, written my Terry McMillan. “Terry McMillan has been in my head and in my household of years,” Beauvais shared. “So getting a chance with Lifetime to create Tempted By Love was just, I mean, a ‘pinch me’ moment.”
Beauvais emphasized the authenticity between her character and love interest. “When we came up with a May-to-December romance, we wanted to keep to real,” she shared with GMA. “We didn’t want to gloss over — it’s not about a hot woman with a younger man. [Ava] talks about real things, and I’m sure we’ll get into that a little more.”
Beauvais debuted another bright green look during her media tour. The Spider-Man: Homecoming actor knows which colors look best on her. She’s often seen wearing brightly colored, neon outfits on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well.
Beauvais wore a striped dress and black heeled boots to ABC Studios during her promotional tour. Just as she prepared for her media events, she planned for her role in Tempted By Love. “I really wanted to get the chef part because my character Ava is a Michelin chef,” she told GMA. “So I really wanted to master that. I know how to cook, but I wanted to look like a chef, right? So I went to Youtube university and studied really hard. And it was fun.”
