Fans of the series watched Wayt propose to Portwood, already knowing that Wayt later disappeared for a week before ending his engagement. Now, fans will get to see the disappearance play out on screen.
In a recent sneak peek for the upcoming episode, Maci Bookout speaks with Catelynn Lowell over the phone about Portwood and Gary Wayt’s situation. Bookout reveals that she planned to drive Portwood halfway back to Indiana after Wayt failed to materialize. The production team was prepared to take her the rest of the way home. Portwood is not seen much in the uploaded clip. Still, most of the episode will obviously cover Gary Wayt’s disappearance and the subsequent end of the couple’s engagement.
