‘General Hospital’ aired a rerun during the preemption

General Hospital fans tuned into the April 12th episode, ready for another day of drama from their favorite characters. However, they were in for a shock when a rerun aired. Viewers were confused why they were watching a repeat of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) wedding instead of new episodes.

The preemption was because of breaking news coverage of the Brooklyn Subway shooting. Fans were understanding of the interruption given the latest crisis. Although today’s episode was preempted, the show’s Twitter page tweeted that it will air tomorrow at its regular time.

Recap of the previous episode

The drama is heating up on General Hospital, as seen on the April 11th episode. The fallout from Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) sex tape continues to be the talk of Port Charles. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is standing trial for leaking the tape. While everyone believes Trina is innocent and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed her, evidence is piling up in Trina’s case.

Speaking of Esme, she’s continuing to cause problems in the Cassadine household. Ava Jerome (Maura West) admits to Trina that she and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) are sleeping in separate rooms. Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) pays Nikolas a visit to discuss the situation with Esme and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Across town, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) night out is ruined by a fight with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). The three argue about the upcoming custody case over Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). Nearby Brendan Byrne (Josh Coxx) watches the drama unfold while awaiting word from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).

After sending a text saying he was at Metro Court with Nina, Harmony gives in to his demand. Later Willow watches as Harmony and Brendan exchange words, but Harmony claims not to know him.

What to expect in the next episode?

The upcoming episode of General Hospital promises to be intriguing. Joss and Cam’s night in is interrupted when they hear a strange noise. Is it her imagination running wild, or will the couple have to contend with a stalker?
