‘General Hospital’: Eden McCoy Shares 1 ‘Problem’ She Hopes to Fix in 2022
With 2021 coming to an end, many people are looking toward 2022. A new year also signifies a new start, and New Year’s resolutions are popping up everywhere.
General Hospital actor Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) is one person who has been thinking about some changes to make in 2022. She recently shared a personal “problem” she would like to fix for the next year.
Eden McCoy shares what she loves most about the holiday season
The holiday season is typically a memorable time of the year for many Americans. McCoy talked to Soap Hub about some things she loves most about the holidays.
“The change in weather in L.A. for December is really nice – I like the cooler air and everything just feels fresh,” she explained. “I love walking my dog around my parents’ neighborhood where all the yards and houses have holiday lights and front yard displays – people really get into it where they live!”
In addition to her General Hospital work, McCoy is currently a student at the University of Southern California. Like lots of young adults her age, she gets to take some time off from classes and studying to celebrate the holidays.
“I also get a nice long break from school and sports for the holidays, so I have more time to reconnect with friends,” she continued. “And, of course, there’s the holiday drink menu that most coffee shops have!”
McCoy also enjoys some holiday traditions, such as making a gingerbread house with her mother and going through an advent calendar. She participates in Toys for Tots as well and donated multiple times this year.

Soap Hub also asked McCoy about her New Year’s Resolution, and the actor revealed a “problem” she would like to work on in 2022.
“Probably like a lot of us, I’m going to commit to healthier eating this year – more green smoothies and vegetable drinks, and I need to cut way back on sugar,” McCoy said. “My sweet tooth is a real problem. I get away with it because of volleyball workouts but I know it isn’t healthy for my insides.”
Additionally, the 18-year-old wants to improve her acting and work on more personal development goals.
“I also want to find time to take a really good acting workshop and read a classic book that isn’t for school,” she shared. “Right now I’m thinking I’ll choose Anna Karenina – I know it’s a tragic story but wow is it soapy. Also, I don’t know much about Russia and I’m currently fascinated by it for some reason.”
What is next for Eden McCoy’s character, Josslyn?
In 2022, General Hospital fans will continue to see McCoy on the show as Josslyn.
Josslyn is currently in a relationship with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). The two teens are still trying to explore love and romance, especially when it comes to their sexuality. Fans will likely see Josslyn and Cameron grow in the next year.
Josslyn is also dealing with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), who came to Port Charles in August. Esme is trying to manipulate some people in town, and Josslyn has never trusted her one bit. It’s likely the two of them will in big ways in 2022 as Josslyn learns more about who Esme really is.
