‘General Hospital’: Is Ingo Rademacher Married and Does He Have Any Kids?

Ingo Rademacher has been on ‘General Hospital’ since 1996
Rademacher was born in West Germany and grew up in Australia. He moved to Los Angeles in his early 20’s to pursue an acting career.
In 1996, at the age of 25, Rademacher landed the role of Jax on General Hospital. Jax came to Port Charles as a corporate raider who could help Lois Cerullo get her company back from Edward Quartermaine.
It didn’t take long before he became part of a love triangle with the supercouple Sonny Corinthos and Brenda Barrett. Throughout his time in Port Charles, Jax would develop relationships with many women, including Brenda, Alexis Davis, Skye Quartermaine, Courtney Matthews, and Carly Corinthos. He is currently dating Nina Reeves.
Jax also has one kid named Josslyn, whom he parents with Carly.
Ingo Rademacher used to date his co-star Rebecca Herbst
It’s not uncommon for soap opera actors to date each other, and Rademacher actually used to date Rebecca Herbst, who plays Elizabeth Webber on General Hospital.
The couple allegedly was together for a short time in the late 1990’s. It’s not clear why they broke up. However, Herbst did talk about the relationship in 1998, saying they were still friends.
“We’re not longer technically ‘dating,’” she told Soap Opera Digest, “but he’s more a part of my life now than before. We just figured out that we’re a lot better friends this way, and our friendship means the world to me. This change in our relationship was totally mutual, and we both view it as a positive thing. We value each other; we cherish our time together. We still hang out and go out — but it’s as friends.”
Is Ingo Rademacher married and does he have any kids?
Rademacher is married and has been for almost 10 years. He and his wife, Ehiku, met in Hawaii in 2006. As Rademacher shared in an Instagram post in 2018, “12 years ago she caught my eye running on the beach in Hawaii in her bikini :-) around the time I bought my house there. 5 months later I saw her again while on a workout run/swim at Waimea bay with a buddy. I crashed and burned :-) I tried to hard cause I knew she was the one. Amazing how a little cold shoulder works :-) It took another 3 month for her to agree to a date….the rest is history.”
The couple has two sons together: Peanut (born 2008) and Pohaku (born 2012).
Rademacher and his wife’s decision to name their son “Peanut” has attracted attention from people who are not soap opera fans. He explained to People shortly after his son was born, “We were calling him that when he was in mommy. It kind of represented joy and happiness to us. It puts a smile on everyone’s face.”
