‘General Hospital: Lindsey Morgan Was a Soap Star Before The CW’s ‘The 100’ and ‘Walker’
Lindsey Morgan has starred in almost every season of The CW’s The 100 and will soon move on to the network’s Walker, Texas Ranger reimagining. However, some people may have forgotten that before all of this, she was a daytime soap opera star on General Hospital!
Lindsey Morgan once portrayed Kristina Corinthos-Davis on ‘General Hospital’
Morgan’s first major role was on General Hospital. In 2012, she was cast as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, becoming the second teen/adult actress to step in the role. Lexi Ainsworth played the first aged version of the character. The character is the daughter of mobster Sonny Corinthos and attorney Alexis Davis.
When Morgan debuted in the role, Kristina returned home, mad at her parents after finding out that they bribed her way into Yale. At the school, when it was learned her way into the school, she was coined “Mob Princess.” She spins this into a web series of the same name and produces the show with Trey Mitchell. She and Trey begin dating and the show was scrapped. Mitchell later died tragically after their tumultuous relationship.
Morgan left the role in 2013. Ainsworth returned to the show in 2015 and has portrayed Kristina on-and-off since then.
Morgan went on to star in ‘The 100’
After leaving General Hospital, Morgan nabbed a prime role in The CW’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama series, The 100. She joined the show as the character of Raven Reyes.
Morgan just recurred on the series for the first season and was upped to a main cast member for the second season and has remained one through the show’s current, sixth and final season.
The actress has now been cast in the new ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ series
Morgan will remain in The CW family for her latest gig. She has been cast in a reimagining of Walker, Texas Ranger at the network called Walker. The series will also Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki.
The official description of the series from The CW says that the show, which has a straight-to-series order, stars Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker, “a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He’ll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner (Morgan), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.”
The show will premiere in the fall of this year or the spring of next year. Until then, Morgan can be seen in the final season of The 100.
