‘General Hospital’ casts Michael Blake Kruse as Rory Cabrera
General Hospital fans noticed the handsome new cop Rory Cabrera at the Port Charles police station. Rory’s first scenes were assisting Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as she was interrogated about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) sex tape. While all eyes were on Trina’s drama, viewers couldn’t help but be distracted by Rory.
Viewers will be seeing more of the handsome cop. According to Soaps in Depth, Kruse’s role isn’t a one-time deal; the actor will be a full-time cast member. Kruse is thrilled about his character and is already cracking jokes about his fan base. On Twitter, the actor joked that people were asking him to arrest them.

General Hospital fans are eager to learn more about Kruse. The actor was born in Oceanside, California, as the son of Marine parents. Kruse’s family later relocated to Iowa, where he played baseball during high school and college. After graduating from Central College with a major in Sociology, Kruse decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Kruse started as a model, landing campaigns with Nike and Apple. He soon began getting acting gigs in movies like Double Play, The Ugly Christmas Sweater, and Christmas Harmony. He also had guest roles on TV shows like Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy. The actor will be gaining more attention thanks to his soap opera role.
Rory Cabrera’s ties to other Port Charles citizens
With Rory being a contract role on General Hospital, fans expect big things for the character. Of course, the handsome cop will have the attention of many ladies. But viewers are already shipping him with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Since Selina is part of a mob, her profession will spell trouble for Rory. While the cop does everything by the book, he may break the law to help his family.
