It’s been four months since Liam’s death, and Sasha is still grieving over her son. To help cope with the pain, Sasha’s taking drugs to calm her anxiety. Sasha has been keeping her drug use a secret; however, her behavior raises concerns from her friend and boss, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
While Sasha assures everyone she’s okay, everyone in Port Charles will learn she’s not as happy as she claims to be.
Paparazzi uncover Sasha Gilmore’s secret addiction
General Hospital fans knew Sasha’s secret would come out eventually, and this week everything comes to a head for the Deception model. Sasha is enjoying a girls’ night out with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms), and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Their evening is interrupted when a photographer enters and begins hounding Sasha.
She sneaks away to take a pill; however, the photographer snaps a picture of her with the drugs. While the rest of the women hold the photog off, Sasha and Gladys leave. However, their night goes from bad to worse when Sasha accidentally hits Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), who runs into the road.
While Sasha tries to save Harmony, the photographer arrives and snaps photos of the incident. Police then come and order the paparazzi out while questioning Sasha about the hit and run. Sasha’s anxiety is at an all-time high, and it will increase with the following chain of events.

While Gladys and Brando try to calm Sasha’s nerves, things will worsen for the model. According to Soaps.com, the photographer approaches Smoltz (David Lautman) with an intriguing story. The photos of Sasha’s accident and her popping pills means a juicy story that Smoltz will run in The Invader.
Given that Smoltz is a slimeball, he won’t resist the opportunity to capitalize on Sasha’s misfortune. Thanks to Smoltz, everyone in Port Charles will know about Sasha’s addiction. With the secret out in the open, she’ll have no other choice but to confess.
Sasha’s family and friends will rally around her as they try to help her. But the damage may already be done. The scandal will be a disaster for Deception and may result in Sasha losing her job. However, that’s not the only thing she’ll lose.
Sasha’s addiction will make Brando question their marriage. He’ll wonder if Sasha married him because she wanted to or if the pills influenced her decision. Brando loves Sasha, but he doesn’t want their marriage built on a lie.
