‘General Hospital’ Sneak Peek: Is Luke Spencer Really Dead?
It’s always a good time on General Hospital when legends come back to the canvas. That’s why fans were super-excited when Genie Francis came back to the canvas. Now, though, another legend is coming back. This time, it’s the legendary Anthony Geary, aka the Once and Forever Luke Spencer. But is this bit of news really just a harbinger of tragedy?
[Spoiler alert: Potential spoilers for upcoming episodes of General Hospital are up ahead.]
Is Luke Spencer really dead on ‘General Hospital’?
It’s always a treat to see Anthony Geary play the role of Luke Spencer. Unfortunately, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry‘s General Hospital spoilers, his presence is actually a harbinger of sadness. Their spoilers tease that Luke Spencer just might be gone for good — and not in a good way.
“During the week of January 3-7, total devastation will spread across the General Hospital canvas. There’ll be some stunning updates that break several hearts,” reports the outlet. “From the sound of things, Laura will be particularly affected by this news. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will encourage Laura to confide in him, so that may be in the aftermath as she tries to cope with what she’s learned. Considering Laura’s history with Luke and Tracy’s connection to him as well, it’s possible Tracy will come home to reveal Luke is dead.”
Now, it’s possible that Luke Spencer is really just missing. And classic fans of GH know that Geary has periodically come on and off the canvas for several decades. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.
Nina’s preliminary hearing comes to an end
Meanwhile, according to Soaps.com, the December 29 episode of the show will feature the end of Nina’s preliminary hearing. But that doesn’t mean it’s wrapping up without a hitch. As the outlet revealed, the December 28 episode of the show will feature a “surprise twist” and shared truths revealed.
Does this mean that Nina’s time in Nixon Falls with “Mike” will finally all come out? And what will Carly say, if that does indeed happen? Things are definitely about to get ugly for Sonny on the home front.
“A long time in coming, Nina’s day of reckoning arrives as her preliminary hearing comes to an end,” reports the outlet. “At the same time, Sonny hopes he’ll be given a chance to explain.”
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Port Charles
Other General Hospital spoilers from SoapHub reveal that family drama abounds in other parts of Port Charles. If there’s one thing you can count on the Powers That Be to do, it’s bring the noise in spades.
“Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tries to sort out his messy family life which isn’t easy,” reports the outlet. “Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is everywhere and he’s making friends around town. To make things even more complicated, he and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) budding romance has him quite distracted, in the best possible way.”
So, will Curtis be able to sort out his family drama before his relationship with Portia gets negatively affected? We’ll just have to tune in to this week’s General Hospital to find out for sure.
