‘General Hospital’ Speculation: When Nikolas is Backed Into a Corner, Who Will Have the Last Laugh?
Believe it or not, there are more stories on General Hospital than just the drama between Sonny, Carly, and Jason. (Hard to believe, isn’t it?) The latest speculation surrounding the Port Charles residents has to do with the drama between Nikolas, his son Spencer, and Ava. Upcoming spoilers suggest that Nikolas will be “backed into a corner.” But what will happen to Ava? And who will get the last laugh in the midst of it all?

On ‘General Hospital,’ Esme tells Sonny a lie about Ava’s stalker
If you believe the latest General Hospital spoilers from Soaps @ SheKnows, Esme sets the first proverbial domino in motion around this bit of drama. The outlet reports that on the Sept. 30 episode of the show, Esme spots Sonny in the hall, introduces herself, and drops a dime on Spencer.
Now, really, Sonny has enough of his own drama going on, so does he really need this? No, folks, of course he doesn’t. Does Esme tell him anyway? Yes, folks, of course she does.
“Sonny wonders if his nephew is in trouble,” reports the outlet. “She says he isn’t, but his father may be. She tells him that she overheard Nikolas booking plane tickets for himself and Ava for Bora Bora, and it sounds like they are taking Avery.”

So, Sonny, in response, does a typical Sonny thing. He thanks Esme for her time, and he walks out. But Joss spotted them talking to each other, though was unable to make out what they were saying. So, she took a picture of them.
And then, according to the latest General Hospital spoilers from Daytime Confidential, Esme calls Spencer and tells him that “things are taken care of” and Nikolas isn’t going anywhere with Ava. But then, Joss runs into Esme in the hall, and more drama and mess breaks out.
“Kevin finds Josslyn eavesdropping in the hallway, but she claims she was at the hospital to check out her ankle,” reports the outlet. “Esme however, wonders why Josslyn was stalking her. Josslyn wonders why Esme was chatting up Sonny. Esme tells her not to act so territorially about Sonny and complains her feelings are hurt by Josslyn and Trina. Josslyn tells Esme she knows she’s full of crap. Esme tells Josslyn that snooping into her business will cost her.”
Oh, those meddling kids.
Now, Nikolas’s back is up against the wall — so what does he choose?
So now, according to the latest General Hospital speculation from SoapHub, Nikolas is backed into a corner. The Oct. 1 episode revealed that Sonny and Nikolas are now at loggerheads. While Nikolas would love nothing more than for Sonny and his goons to beat feet, Sonny has other plans. Sonny isn’t making anyone go anywhere until everyone’s on the same page.
“Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wants to know what’s going on when both Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) get texts,” reports the outlet. “Trina tells him to tell them — as she shows the picture Josslyn Jacks sent of Esme talking to Sonny. Will all three realize that Nikolas is in big trouble and rush in to confess all?”
Now, we speculate that in a battle between Spencer and Ava, Nikolas will always choose Ava — even if it means personal harm to him. Of course, this is just speculation. We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of General Hospital to figure out what comes next in the saga.
