‘General Hospital’ Star Kirsten Storms Has the Perfect Recipe While You’re Social Distancing
Since many states are encouraging their residents to stay indoors during the coronavirus outbreak, most people are cooking more than usual now. General Hospital actress Kirsten Storms took to social media to share a dish that should be easy to prepare while you’re practicing social distancing!
The actress shares the best dish for social distancing
General Hospital is currently suspended as production takes a break during the coronavirus outbreak. While production was only supposed to be suspended for a few weeks, it may be extended if the pandemic lasts longer.
While on break from the series, the cast of the series has been active on social media as a way to keep up with fans and to interact with them. Storms posted about a meal that she wanted to share with fans.
She posted about the dish, which she doesn’t have a specific name for, on her Instagram past. The actress explained that she made it when her sister came over to her house to do her laundry.
“My sister came over to do laundry so I made her one of my comfort foods. Turkey Bacon (cut into small-ish pieces) cooked in a skillet with olive oil, garlic (any form), lemon juice and black pepper – when crispy add peas and keep skillet on ‘low heat.’ Pasta is the Gluten Free “Brown Rice and Red Lentil” spaghetti from @traderjoes.”
The caption continues, “When the pasta is done, add it to skillet and toss ingredients together – adding more olive oil and (lots of) lemon juice. Top with parm cheese. For realzies, it’s delicious. Kinda like a guilt-free carbonara.”
Her ‘General Hospital’ co-stars are definitely digging it!
Several of Storms’ General Hospital co-stars commented on her Instagram post and seems like they were in love with the dish and the recipe!
“I kinda wanna eat that. I do,” said James Patrick Stuart, who portrays Valentin Cassadine on the soap opera. Kelly Monaco, who portrays Sam Morgan, commented on the Instagram with the licking face emoji.
Emme Rylan, who portrays Lulu Spencer, also commented on the photo of the food, saying, “I need this.”
Maybe this will be a new trend of looking to General Hospital cast members when you need something different to cook during this coronavirus outbreak. What better way to work around social distancing by collaborating on cooking a new food!
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
