General Hospital has been on the air since 1963. Like many soap operas, the show has seen countless cast changes over the years, from long-time actors leaving the show to new faces being brought on.

Recently, actor William deVry decided to share with social media followers that there is an A-list actor he would like to see on General Hospital. In fact, deVry thinks this actor should even play his character’s brother.

William deVry has been on ‘General Hospital’ since 2013

DeVry plays Julian Jerome on General Hospital, a role he has occupied since 2013. Before then, the character was played by Jason Culp from 1988 to 1990.

Julian used to be well-known mobster in Port Charles. He has been involved in various crimes around town, such as assault, kidnapping, and even murder. He now owns a popular pub in town, but he still has a lot of connections to the criminal underworld and is capable of pulling off dangerous moves on those who stand in his way.

Does Julian have any siblings?

Julian is the son of mob boss Victor Jerome. His mother is unknown.

Julian has four known siblings from his father’s various relationships. He has two full siblings: Evan and Olivia. He also has two half-siblings, Dino and Ava.

Out of Julian’s siblings, Ava (Maura West) is the only one fans see on the show regularly. She came to Port Charles around the same time as Julian, and these days, she is well-known among the other characters for her manipulative, conniving ways.

Which A-list actor does William deVry want to appear as Julian’s brother?

On Sept. 6, deVry took to Twitter to share an interesting idea with followers: Giving Julian another brother. This time, deVry hoped the role could be played by Hollywood actor Mark Wahlbert.

In the tweet, deVry also tagged Walhberg’s brother, New Kids On the Block member and Blue Blood star Donnie Walhberg. He wrote, “Yo @DonnieWahlberg help us get your brother on @GeneralHospital for a week to play long lost Jerome hit man brother. @markwahlberg Donnie Jerome. #JusticeLeagueJerome.”

After one fan suggested Donnie would be a better fit than Mark, deVry responded, “Look look ladies. Ok ok. Go ahead and ask @DonnieWahlberg to do one week on @GeneralHospital.”

While soap operas like General Hospital hire new actors all the time, it is not common for them to bring on Hollywood stars. With that said, it is not entirely out of the question for some popular actors to stop by either. As Soaps.com pointed out, throughout General Hospital’s history, there have been a handful of famous faces on the show. For example, Milton Berle, Sammy Davis Jr., and Elizabeth Taylor all guest starred in the 1980s. More recently, James Franco was on General Hospital as the original Franco Baldwin from 2009 to 2012.

Perhaps one day, either Mark or Donnie Wahlberg might appear on the show too. When it comes to soap operas, it seems anything can happen.
