‘Good Witch’ Season 7 Episode 2 Promo Trailer: George Has a Secret
Something strange is afoot in Middleton. The Good Witch Season 7 premiere saw Cassie (Catherine Bell), Abigail (Sarah Power), and Joy (Katherine Barrell) puzzling over the meaning of those mysterious purple bags of dirt they received in the season 6 finale of the Hallmark Channel series. Now, it seems the Merriwick women (and viewers) will get some answers in the next episode. A trailer for “The Shell” teases more reveals involving those pouches — and the identity of the person who delivered them.
George reveals some interesting information in ‘Good Witch’ Season 7 Episode 2
The Good Witch Season 7 premiere ended on a cliffhanger. Cassie, Abigail, and Joy all came together at Grey House to discuss the strange purple bags of dirt. After they dumped the contents on the kitchen counter, the dirt formed a pattern — the same pattern we saw a much younger Joy create on the beach during a dream sequence at the beginning of the episode.
Then George (Peter MacNeil) made an appearance. “I think it’s time we had a talk,” he tells the trio.
A trailer for the next episode of Good Witch offers some clues about George’s connection to the pouches.
“I promised not to give you three the pouches until the next red-haloed moon,” he says.
So, we know that George was the one who delivered the bags to Cassie, Abigail, and Joy. But it sounds like he was acting on someone else’s behalf. And as for what they mean, well, that’s still a mystery.
Joy and Cassie recognize the symbol in the dirt
The symbol formed by dirt was immediately familiar to two of the three women. Joy recognized it from her dream, where she formed the shape out of rocks while playing on the beach with her father and mother. Cassie recognized it as well. She saw the symbol on the sand when she and Sam (James Denton) were briefly stranded on an island during episode 1.
Abigail is the only one who hasn’t seen the symbol before. “I have a feeling that two of us know more than they’re saying,” she says in the trailer for “The Shell.”
Martha plans a movie night
It’s not all mysterious pouches and strange symbols in the next episode of Good Witch. Martha (Catherine Disher) decides to take the town back to the ‘50s with a movie night in the park. However, it takes her a while to decide what movie to show.
“The perfect theme for this year’s movie night in the park has not happened. I’ve got nothing. Nada. Nil,” she tells Cassie in an extended trailer for the episode.
Eventually, she settles on Grease. The residents of Middleton don their poodle skirts, leather jackets, and saddle shoes as they gather for a fun night that ends with an unexpected romantic gesture.
Also in this episode, Cassie’s foster brother Vincent (Gianopaolo Venuta) continues his search for his birth mother. But he ends up making another connection instead.
