A quick recap of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 17 Episode 15, ‘Tradition’
Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) left in Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Episode 15, “Tradition.” But the all-new episode on May 20 teased new arcs for multiple characters.
Meredith finally woke up and was strong enough to go home. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) also updated Meredith on everything she missed, including the death of Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti).
Meanwhile, Amelia and Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) have been holding down the fort at Meredith’s house. So with Meredith’s return, Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) thought he’d be able to move out with Amelia and baby Scout soon. Maggie and Winston Ndugu (Anthony Hill) have also been planning their wedding and asked Richard to officiate.
The new Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 episode finally updated fans on Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) and Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). The exes seemingly rekindled their romance and hooked up.
Fans also watched Jo in action after she changed specialties and became an OB resident. Then Taryn Helm (Jaicy Elliot) broke down in front of Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli), and he asked her to move in with him and Jo.
The new ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 17 Episode 16 promo trailer teases Meredith’s future at Grey Sloan
The Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Episode 16 promo trailer reveals what’s coming up next — and one storyline might change everything. At the start of the preview, Bailey opens up to Meredith outside of the hospital.
“I can’t lose any more surgeons,” Bailey says.
Then Meredith replies, “I can’t operate if I can’t stand on my feet. I may never get back.”
Meanwhile, Link seemingly tells Amelia he wants more kids. “I love being a dad,” he says. “I think I want more.”
But it doesn’t really look like Amelia is on the same page. “More children?” she says.
Finally, the Grey’s Anatomy teaser wraps with Jo as she advocates for baby Luna. Then Link says what many fans have been thinking ever since Luna’s mom, Val Ashton (Mackenzie Marsh), died.
“Sorry, are we pretending like you’re not going to adopt her?” Link says to Jo.
Nevertheless, the Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 storyline might end in tragedy. At the end of the promo, Jo checks up on her patient. But it seems Cormac Hayes (Richard Flood) is struggling to keep them alive.
“What the hell happened?” Jo says.
