‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Camilla Luddington Shows Off Her Third-Trimester Belly on Instagram
Camilla Luddington of Grey’s Anatomy is expecting her second child with husband Matthew Alan. Trying to keep her 3-year-old daughter Hayden entertained during quarantine, the British-born actress has her hands full as she awaits the arrival of their family’s newest member.
Now getting close to her due date, Luddington recently enjoyed some pool time in a bikini that makes third-trimester pregnancy look glam.

After several weeks of fans wondering if Luddington was trying to hide something under her lab coat on Grey’s, the actress shared her happy news on Instagram with the help of a Disney star.
“Me: I’m just gonna do a super casual pregnancy announcement.’
Also me: ‘I NEED PRINCESSES!!!!!!’ 👑✨💫🌟👑✨🌟💫👑✨🌟💫👑,” she captioned the photo of herself with Cinderella gesturing to Luddington’s belly. “Okay so… Matt and I are so happy to fiiiiinally post after months of ‘hiding’ that i am pregnant! We are beyond excited to add to our little family and give Hayden a sibling.”
The UK native revealed that her absence from her platforms was due to the many side effects of her condition.
“I’ve been away a lot from social media the past few months because OMGGGG the exhaustion and OMGGGGGG the morning (read: alllllll day) sickness,” Luddington explained. “Have I been 🤮 mid filming at work? Yep! Oh the glamor of growing new humans 🤣. But in all seriousness, we feel so lucky and I can’t wait to bring you guys along for the remaining months of this baby #2 journey!!”

An active poster with over 3 million followers on Instagram and 650K+ on Twitter, Luddington has a relatively open line of communication with her fans. One follower recently brought an old photo of the actress to her attention and noted a strong resemblance to music star Britney Spears.
“I came across this photo & lmk how, just for a second, I thought this was Britney Spears,” the fan captioned the pic of a blond Luddington. “ps. I love u Camilla pls don’t take it the wrong way haha.”
Apparently, the Grey’s star relished the comparison and revealed that she had an affinity for the pop icon.
“I was 18 in this pic and trust me allllll I wanted was to be @britneyspears …” Luddington shared.

Enjoying a dip in the pool, Luddington recently showed off her swim attire which gave fans a view of her belly during the homestretch of her pregnancy.

Making the most of her time while she’s awaiting her family’s newest addition, Luddington previously commented on the pluses and minuses of working on the medical drama when she was pregnant with Hayden.
“Mimicking childbirth on Grey’s has taken the mystery out of it,” she told Parents in an interview, adding a benefit of being on the show. “We have real doctors on the set, and I bug them so much about stuff.”
In the meantime, Luddington’s fans are sticking close to the actress’s social media channels for a baby announcement and counting the days til the Grey’s Anatomy season 17 premiere!
