Who is Guy Fieri?
Guy Fieri was born in 1968 in Columbus, Ohio. As a young man, he was drawn to a career in the culinary industry and even studied in France for a time. After returning from France, he began working in restaurants, working his way up to become a manager.
Eventually, Fieri opened his own restaurant, Johnny Garlic’s, followed a few years later by Tex Wasabi’s. In addition to his work as a restaurant manager and owner, Fieri became a television personality in the early 2000s, after winning the second season of The Next Food Network Star.
Fieri became known to viewers for his unbridled enthusiasm, his unpretentious manner, and his unique, spiky hairstyle. While many found him a bit unpalatable and hard to take in large doses, others loved him, and he has since become one of the most successful stars of The Food Network.
These days, Fieri spends his time filming a handful of shows and hosts several others – all while continuing to build his restaurant empire.

Guy Fieri is a dedicated family man and has been married to his wife, Lori Fieri, since 1995. They have two sons, Hunter and Ryder. Hunter Fieri, the eldest of the two, has been working with his father for years, almost since the beginning of Guy Fieri’s television career. Hunter Fieri has shown a similar passion for the culinary arts as Guy Fieri, and, as a 2018 Delish profile revealed, has worked in the Fieri family restaurants for years.
He has traveled around the world with his father, exploring different cuisines and culinary stylings, and soon, he began appearing alongside Guy Fieri on television.
Hunter Fieri has a calmer, more composed presence than his father, but as a recent Reddit thread revealed, viewers definitely find the younger Fieri a worthy successor to his father’s brand of all-American entertainment.

In a Reddit thread, fans discussed Hunter Fieri, praising his ability as a chef as well as his on-screen presence. “I’m super impressed with the personality of Hunter Fieri and his chops as Guy’s sous chef.
