Hailey Bieber isn’t happy with Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century list. The outlet has slowly released its list of 25 artists over the past few days. Justin Bieber took the eighth spot on the list behind Kanye West, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Drake, and Rihanna.
“The greatest teen-pop phenomenon of the early 2010s ultimately made the jump to true adult superstardom, blazing a new trail for young 21st-century hitmakers in the process,” Billboard wrote about Justin. Through the years, Justin had eight Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits and 26 songs in the top 10.
While Justin should be proud of his accomplishments as an artist and for making the top 10, Hailey isn’t pleased. “Billboard is a f***ing joke as per usual,” Hailey commented on Billboard’s list with a kiss emoji, according to The Sun.
It’s unclear why Hailey is upset with Billboard for awarding her husband the eighth-place spot. Fans on Reddit are surprised by her comment, as many think Justin placed higher than he deserved.
“So embarrassing to be complaining about eighth,” a Reddit user wrote. “Like, you’re higher than Usher and Adele, take the minor win and walk away.”

Federal agents arrested Sean “Diddy” Combs in September 2024 after Homeland Security raided two of his properties in March 2024. An old clip shows Combs claiming he and Justin spent 48 hours together at his home, prompting speculation regarding what went down following the many lawsuits filed against Combs in 2024. Justin was 15 at the time.
“He’s tried to be up-front about his demons and how he’s relied on therapy and his faith to get back on track,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “Still, it’s been hard to have all of this stuff being dredged up.”
The source added that Justin relies on his “massively supportive” wife, Hailey Bieber, to help ground him. But the tension from Combs’ case may be bubbling into social media, causing Hailey to stir the pot online.

The photo showed Justin with his two middle fingers up while in Queensland, Australia, in 2017. “Mood,” Hailey captioned the picture, according to In Touch Weekly.
Justin wasn’t happy at the time the photo was taken. A cameraman from Channel 7 Australia asked Justin to give a “hello” to his fans on camera. “F*** you!” Justin said. “What’s wrong with you?” He then put his middle fingers up.
