Halle Bailey and Chloe Bailey Walk Hand in Hand on the Red Carpet at London’s Fashion Awards
One of London’s biggest nights in fashion is unfolding as celebrities from the UK and beyond celebrate exceptional talent in womenswear and menswear as well as outstanding contributions over the past year. Hosted by the British Fashion Council Foundation, the fundraiser is taking place in London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall. So far, Halle and Chloe Bailey stole the show as they walked hand in hand into the star-studded gala.
The sisters walked the red carpet in London in decidedly different looks. Halle Bailey went for a corseted two-piece dress in bright white. The angelic look included a high-low waistline, paneled skirt, and strings of pearls and discs cascading to her calves. The Little Mermaid star wore diamond hoops and cuffs on her ears. She added simple gold necklaces and rings to the ensemble.
If Halle was an angel, Chloe was her devilish counterpart. The older sister wore a form-fitting black mermaid-style gown by Atsuko Kudo with a plunging neckline lined in red trim. The “Have Mercy” singer walked in sky-high platform heels and wore a thick diamond necklace high around her neck. Both sisters are embracing their more mature identities in Hollywood as twenty-somethings.
Born in Atlanta, Chloe and Halle Bailey began their Hollywood journey by sharing covers of popular songs on YouTube. The pair caught the attention of Beyoncé, who signed them to her label, Parkwood Entertainment. Their breakout role in Disney’s Let It Shine and their music propelled them to stardom.
Since their early years, Chloe and Halle Bailey have grown into fashion icons with their bold, experimental styles. Early in their careers, they favored coordinated looks that highlighted their sisterly bond and youthful charm. Over time, their red carpet appearances began showcasing a mix of whimsical and avant-garde designs, often featuring emerging Black designers.
Chloe leans toward sultry, form-fitting pieces that highlight her individuality and confidence. Halle, meanwhile, embraces ethereal and romantic styles, frequently incorporating flowing silhouettes and delicate embellishments. They have become ambassadors of modern Black excellence in fashion, often celebrating their natural hair as part of their look. Both Chloe and Halle are perfect additions to the Fashion Awards guestlist.
Another notable Fashion Awards guest from America is A$AP Rocky, who is being bestowed with a special honor from The British Fashion Council Foundation. The American-Barbadian rapper is receiving the Cultural Innovator Award due to his bold style ventures of the last year. A$AP Rocky debuted his menswear label, AWGE, at Paris Fashion Week and served as the face of Bottega Veneta.
