Hallmark Channel has the perfect cure for the post-holiday blahs. The network’s “Winter Escape” programming event kicks off in January 2025 with four all-new movies that will take viewers on a journey to Ireland, Argentina, and other destinations. Plus, two Hallmark original series — The Way Home and When Calls the Heart — also return with new episodes this month. Keep reading for our rundown of the Hallmark movie schedule for January 2025.

‘Love of the Irish’ 

Shenae Grimes-Beech plays Fiona, a woman who is fed up with her bad luck. In an effort to turn things around, she takes her mom on a trip to Ireland. There, she meets a charming single dad (Stephen Hagan) who helps her make her own luck.

Love of the Irish airs Saturday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET. 

‘Polar Opposites’

Emma (Rhiannon Fish) needs to get to Antarctica to reach her father. She travels to South America but can’t get on a boat for the last leg. So, she sneaks onto a cruise ship and meets engineer Andy (Markian Tarasuik).

Polar Opposites airs Saturday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET. 

‘My Argentine Heart’ 

Abril (Julie Gonzalo) travels to Argentina in an effort to keep her family ranch from being bought by her ex (Juan Pablo Di Pace). But when outside forces threaten the ranch, the pair must come together, rekindling their love in the process.

My Argentine Heart airs Saturday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. ET. 

‘The Perfect Setting’

Chesapeake Shores alum Laci J. Mailey plays an aspiring jewelry designer who returns to Belgium to visit her grandfather and hopefully win the Valentine’s Day Diamond Contest. David Elsendoorn also stars.

The Perfect Setting airs Saturday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. ET.

New movies aren’t the only thing on Hallmark’s January 2025 schedule. Two of the network’s original series also return in the new year: The Way Home and When Calls the Heart. 

In The Way Home Season 3, new mysteries unfold for the Landry family, as questions about their past arise. The season premiere picks up immediately after the season 2 finale, with adult Jacob (Spencer Macpherson) returning to the present after spending decades trapped in the 18th century. The new season will also introduce a new timeline, with Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and Kat (Chyler Leigh) traveling back to the 1970s, when, Del and Colton, first met.  

Change is in the air in Hope Valley in the 12th season premiere of When Calls the Heart. In “The Mountie Way,” Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) confronts a parental milestone when little Jack (Hyland Goodrich) starts school. Nathan (Kevin McGarry) trains a new Mountie, Oliver (Jacob Shoemay) and Lucas (Chris McNally) team up with Lee (Kavan Smith) to work on a new project.   

The Way Home Season 3 premieres Friday, Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. ET. When Calls the Heart Season 12 premieres Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes of both shows stream the next day on Hallmark+.
