The merry Christmas magic continues at Hallmark Channel. The network’s 2024 Countdown to Christmas wraps up in December. Nine new movies premiere this month featuring stars such as Jessica Lowndes, Kimberley Sustad, and Maggie Lawson. Plus, another three new movies will air on Hallmark Mystery. 

All movies air at 8 p.m. ET unless otherwise noted.

‘The Finnish Line’

Anya (Kim Matula) decides to follow in her later father’s footsteps by entering a legendary dogsledding race in Finland. After a mishap involving one of her dogs, she ends up paired with Cole (Beau Mirchoff), a journalist and former facer who hopes to write a story about her journey. 

The Finnish Line airs Sunday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. ET. 

‘The Christmas Quest’ 

Christmas Queen Lacey Chabert stars in The Christmas Quest, her 15th holiday movie for Hallmark. This time, she’s teaming up with Kristoffer Polaha for a story about an archaeologist who embarks on a mission to track down the legendary Treasure of the Yule Lads in Iceland. 

The Christmas Quest airs Sunday, Dec. 1.

‘Private Princess Christmas’ 

Another entry in Hallmark’s list of royal-themed Christmas movies, Private Princess Christmas stars Firefly Lane’s Ali Skovbye as a wayward princess whose mother decides that if she’s going to inherit the throne, she’ll need to complete a leadership boot camp led by Captain Ryan Douglas (Derek Klena). 

Private Princess Christmas airs Friday, Dec. 6. 

‘Sugarplummed’ 

Emily (Maggie Lawson) is dreaming of a picture-perfect Christmas, just like the kind she’s seen in holiday TV movies. She’s stunned when the character of Sugarplum (Jannel Parrish) steps out of the screen and into her life, offering to help her Christmas wish come true. But when Sugarplum’s Christmas schemes start to backfire, Emily has to reconsider her idea of a perfect holiday.  

Sugarplummed airs Saturday, Dec. 7 

‘Leah’s Perfect Gift’ 

Leah Meyer (Emily Arlook) might be Jewish, but she’s always loved Christmas from afar. When her boyfriend Graham (Evan Roderick) invites her to celebrate with his family in Connecticut, she thinks she’s finally going to experience a quintessential Christmas. But fitting in with his uptight family and unwelcoming mom (Barbara Niven) isn’t so easy.  

Leah’s Perfect Gift airs Sunday, Dec. 8

‘Hanukkah on the Rocks’ 

As Hanukkah approaches, corporate lawyer Tory (Stacey Farber) is questioning her career choices. As she helps her bubbe prepare for the perfect celebration, she finds herself on a quest for Hanukkah candles that leads her to a bar in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood. There, she meets a quirky group of regulars who make her rethink everything about her life.  

Hanukkah on the Rocks airs Friday, Dec. 13. 

‘The Santa Class’

In The Santa Class, Kate (Kimberley Sustad) reluctantly takes over her father’s struggling Santa School. As Christmas approaches, she and one of her new employees (Benjamin Ayres) discover that the real Santa is lost and suffering from amnesia after crashing his sled near the school. They decide to help him rediscover his true identity by enrolling him in Santa school. 

The Santa Class airs Saturday, Dec. 14.

‘Following Yonder Star’ 

Abby (Brooke D’Orsay) was once known as one of the most inspirational moms on TV. But following a scandal, her life is in shambles. To escape from it all, she heads to Vermont, where she ends up at a quaint B&B owned by Tom Maguire (John Brotherton), a widower with whom she develops a close connection. 

Following Yonder Star airs Sunday, Dec. 15.

‘Happy Howlidays’ 

The winner of Hallmark+’s reality competition series Finding Mr. Christmas will make his Hallmark movie debut opposite Jessica Lowndes in Happy Howlidays. She plays an editor for the Seattle Tourism Board who is celebrating the holiday alone. When she encounters a stray dog, she’s not sure how to handle the situation, so she reaches out to a shelter owner for help. 

Happy Howlidays airs Saturday, Dec. 21.

Three new movies will also air on Hallmark Mystery in December 2024. 

Thursday, Dec. 5: A Dance in the Snow, about a mom (Erica Cerra) planning an inclusive dance for her autistic high school daughter (Vanessa Burghardt). 

Thursday, Dec. 12: All I Need for Christmas, about a struggling singer-songwriter (Mallory Jansen) who meets an entrepreneur (Dan Jeannotte) who encourages her to get back in touch with her music.

Thursday, Dec. 19: Trading Up Christmas, about a woman (Italia Ricci) who hatches a creative plan to find her sister a new home. Michael Xavier plays the reporter assigned to cover the story.
