Hallmark’s New ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ Movie Title Revealed, Plus How to Watch
More details about the latest movie in Hallmark’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered series are trickling out. The long-awaited 12th movie in the franchise about a group of postal workers in the dead letter office who make it their mission to find the recipients of undelivered mail now has a title: Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made.
‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made’ premieres October 17
POstables have been waiting a long time for the next Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. The last film in the series aired in 2018. Hallmark announced in 2019 that another movie was in the works. But it wasn’t until earlier in 2021 that fans got confirmation that the next installment was actually happening and that the movie would premiere this fall.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made will air Sunday, October 17 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Cord-cutters can watch the new movie on one of the live TV streaming services that carry the channel, including Sling TV, Frndly TV, Philo, and Fubo TV.
What is the new ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ movie about?
All four core Signed, Sealed, Delivered cast members will appear in the new movie: Eric Mabius as Oliver; Kristin Booth as Shane; Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe as Rita; and Geoff Gustafson as Norman.
Here’s the description from Hallmark:
As Shane and Oliver prepare to wed, the team helps an unwell boy reunite with a lost friend. A new employee may deliver the answer for Rita and Norman to start a family.
On Instagram, Booth teased “several surprises in store” in the new movie, adding, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made may very well be the best yet!!!”
Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe promises that fans will love the new movie
In an interview on the Let’s Dive In podcast (via YouTube), Lowe promised fans that they had a lot to look forward to in the new movie, though she also warned them to have their Kleenex ready.
“I can tell you you’re going to laugh and you’re going to cry, which I know I say at every movie, but this one you’re specifically going to cry,” she said.
“I think that wonderful thing that Martha [Williamson, series creator] did in this is that she really added in a lot of callbacks to things that you’ll remember. There’s so many Easter eggs in this one. There’s a bajillion Easter eggs.”
Lowe also said that her character and her onscreen husband had a “beautiful storyline” about starting a family.
After the long wait for a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie, can fans expect to see more after The Vows We Have Made? Lowe certainly hopes so.
“I think all of us would be eager to come back,” she said. “We love making the show, we would be happy to continue making the show … I don’t think our stories are finished by any means.”
