Recently, a few members of the cast teased what’s coming next. Now, Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Serena Joy Waterford, has opened up about The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Episode 10, and it certainly seems like viewers are in for a treat. Here’s what the actor said about the upcoming finale.
When will Hulu release ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 4 finale?
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 is 10 episodes long. So there are two episodes left until the finale as of this write-up. Hulu will drop the ninth episode, “Progress,” on June 9. Then fans can start streaming The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 finale, “The Wilderness,” on June 16.
Meanwhile, Elisabeth Moss, who plays June Osborne, recently revealed what to expect from the next two episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4.
“Nine is about love,” Moss told Variety. “It’s about old love and new love, and how love can change and morph and how relationships can change into something that you never thought they would be.”
The actor added, “It’s really about choice, and so is [the finale]: What choice are you going to make that will ultimately settle your future? The end of nine is… wherever you think you are at the end of the eight is completely blown apart, basically.”

Whatever happens when Hulu drops the next two episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4, it seems like the team believes the grand finale will deliver on a promise. Previously, executive producer Warren Littlefield claimed the new season was about “patience rewarded.” Then more recently, Strahovski revealed The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 finale will be the most satisfying yet.
“I’m going to go as far to say I feel like this season finale might be the most satisfying one yet. I personally feel that way,” Strahovski told TheWrap. “I remember reading it with my jaw on the floor, just thinking, ‘Oh, my gosh, this is going to be epic.’ And epic it is.”
The actor continued, “It’s very hard to talk about it without spoiling anything, but I think that’s all I can say. Yeah, the satisfaction factor A++.”
Will there be a season 5 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’?
While the cast and crew believe The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 finale will be satisfying to watch, there are still more stories to tell moving forward. Ahead of the season premiere, Hulu renewed The Handmaid’s Tale for season 5. Meanwhile, creator Bruce Miller touched on the future of the series in an interview with Deadline.
“There’s a lot of life in this story,” Miller said. “I’m certainly fascinated by what happens in the Testaments and if that’s going to be part of our future, that’s a bigger question.”
