Hazel-E Speaks on Possibility of Squashing Beef With Masika Kalysha
In trailers seen around the web, Masika Kalysha and Hazel-E took their dispute to the Zeus Network for The Conversation.
The objective was for the two women to address their grievances with one another and come to a resolution. After coming face-to-face, the pair exchanged a few insults before Masika threw a glass across the room and chaos broke out.
One month post-conversation, what happened? Hazel-E recently spoke to Showbiz Cheat Sheet about her life and where things stand with the beef between her and Masika.
Masika and Hazel-E used to be cool
When they first appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood together in 2014, Masika Kalysha and Hazel-E were homegirls. Fans of the show may remember when they hung out, talked about the men in their lives, and got along.
That changed in later seasons of the show (i.e. seasons 3 and 4) when there was an ongoing battle between them that stemmed from several conflicts/betrayals involving Yung Berg, Fetty Wap, and something about Masika’s daughter.
While physical altercations became part of their storyline on LHH, after they both left the series, the beef moved online.
What’s the current status of Hazel-E and Masika Kalysha?
For those that missed the two-part broadcast of The Conversation, little was discussed after the yelling started. Once Masika and someone from Hazel’s camp got into a fight, the police were called to the scene.
It was later revealed Masika wanted to press charges but once they arrived at the hospital, she changed her mind.
How did things go left? Hazel-E told us that when Masika began screaming, she didn’t want to be near it because she felt the energy the whole time.
“I just felt like in the beginning when I tried to hold my poise and my posture and really sit down like a lady to have that talk, that energy was so off from the get-go that by the time the meltdown happened and her wig was gone, I was just like she has lost it,” she said.
Hazel-E added that in those moments, she felt like the fighting was beneath her and she and Masika were not on the same wavelength. She questioned why she showed up for sit-down and wanted to get home to her baby.
Will the beef ever get squashed? For Hazel, it’s a definitive no. “I have no reason to ever communicate with that lady ever again in my life,” she stated. “I’m good. I never want to come in contact with that human being ever again.”
Masika Kalysha has been quiet on social media
Aside from addressing allegations made by her former landlord, Masika Kalysha has been mum on social media since September. She typically engages with fans and actively promotes her businesses and investment club, but she hasn’t issued any statements regarding her feud with Hazel-E.
When the two women departed the set for The Conversation, she was not happy with Hazel or her team. Based on her reaction during filming, she and Hazel-E probably share the same sentiment about not reconciling.
