Heather Rae Young Says Tarek El Moussa’s Kids With Christina Haack Made Her Want Children of Her Own
Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young previously said that she “didn’t feel the need” to have children with her husband Tarek El Moussa. She has since changed her mind and has been sharing her fertility journey with fans. Young recently revealed the reason she wants to have children of her own with the Flip or Flop star.

Netflix star Heather Rae Young frequently posts on social media about her life and family, giving fans a glimpse of her world with husband Tarek El Moussa and his two kids with ex Christina Haack.
On Apr. 13, Young shared an Instagram post revealing why she wants to have children of her own. “Ever since I started sharing my fertility journey with you guys, Probably one of the #1 questions I get asked is ‘what made you change your mind about having your own kids?’” the realtor began captioned a photo of herself on her wedding day with El Moussa’s two children. “Well… my love for Taylor and Brayden is almost indescribable, it helped me realize that I am capable of being an incredible mom and that I can really do this!”
Young continued, “Raising humans is hard, I have so much respect for the men and women who raise such amazing little ones 💕 I just love being a bonus mom and I couldn’t imagine my life not having and creating something with my husband!”
The Selling Sunset star added that seeing El Moussa as a father “is just the most incredible thing.” “He’s so loving and devoted to them and such a great dad that I envisioned us having our own.”
She concluded, “I can’t wait to add to our family when the time is right 🥰🙏🏼”

The Netflix star definitely has babies on the brain because she has been posting frequently about fertility and having children with Tarek El Moussa.
On Mar. 23, Heather Rae Young shared that she “can’t wait” to have a baby with her HGTV star husband. She posted a photo of herself to her Instagram Stories holding what seemed to be a friend’s infant. Young captioned the image, “Okay so I’m Absolutely [sic] obsessed with baby Charlotte.” She tagged the child’s parents before adding, “And it makes me even more ready for my own,” and tagging El Moussa at the end of the post.
In her next Instagram Story, Young shared a photo of her Flip or Flop star husband feeding the infant a bottle. She captioned it, “A complete natural,” tagging El Moussa and adding heart emojis. “I can’t wait to have a baby with you!”

On June 28, 2021, she made an Instagram post sharing her thoughts about having kids with El Moussa. Young wrote that she didn’t “feel the need” to expand their family. “Probably the number one question I get asked is if Tarek and I are adding more babies to the family,” she began the caption. “… I never knew how much love I had to give until I came into these babies lives and as of now I can’t see myself wanting to add another into the family.”
Young added, “The kind of family we have is special and my heart is so full already that I really don’t feel the need for more. ♥️”
But in October 2021, she told People that she would “regret” not trying to have a baby with El Moussa. “To create something with him, that’s ours, together… I feel I would regret it if I didn’t,” she said. “So we’re open to it.”
