The birth of Michael Langdon during American Horror Story: Murder House brought about the end of time. However, there are a few witches (and voodoo queens) who are standing in his way.

With a few fan-favorite characters from Murder House and Coven, this season includes plenty of twists and introduces the world to what happened to Michael Langdon after he left his grandmother’s clutches. Here are a few of the scariest moments from this American Horror Story season.

When the rubber suit from ‘Murder House’ returns (Episode 2)

This season included a few throwbacks from already-released seasons of American Horror Story. One of the first references back to “Murder House” came with the rubber suit, which the character Tate Langdon famously used to scare and/or kill people.

In this season, though, it’s a little confusing because Evan Peters portrays a man named Mr. Gallant. Although he initially thinks it’s Michael Langdon under there. Then again, it could be the ghost of Tate Langdon.

The ‘Forbidden Fruit’ mass murder by Ms. Venable (Episode 3)

After a while, these people ran out of regular food. (At one point, they even had a soup made out of snakes.) Of course, when they had apples as a treat, everyone dove in. What they didn’t know was that the woman in charge, Ms. Wilhemina Venable, poisoned these apples.

She also had plans to kill a person from “the cooperative,” Michael Langdon, but that didn’t exactly work out. This wouldn’t be the first poison moment on American Horror Story, but this one was pretty gross and totally effective. Everyone in the Outpost died besides Michael Langdon.

The witches burning the warlocks at the stake (Episode 7)

This isn’t just a normal death. When you’re a witch or a warlock, there’s a special kind of punishment saved for her. Not only were the warlocks sentenced to death, but Michael’s closest friend, mother, and satanic henchwoman, named Miriam Mead

While she was burning, this character smiled, knowing what the future had in store. Killing this woman was, of course, a bad idea because it just made Michael Langdon way more mad at the witches.

Cordelia sacrificing herself for the next ‘Supreme’ (Season 10)

When one Supreme dies, the other grows stronger. Instead of letting Michael kill her, Cordelia doesn’t give him the satisfaction. She takes his knife and stabs herself, giving power to the next Surpeme along the way. Michael was pretty shocked as Cordelia died surrounded by a pool of blood.

Some seasons of American Horror Story, including Apocalypse, are available for streaming on Hulu. More news regarding the show’s 10th season, and its spinoff American Horror Stories, will presumably be announced in the coming months.
