These days, reboots are all the rage. Whether it is on television or on the big screen, fans seem to go wild over the revival of their favorite shows and films. While not every remake is spot on, many of them are a success, and we expect the upcoming He’s All That will be nothing less than amazing. Fans are counting down the days until they can finally see the new film, so let’s talk about what to expect regarding He’s All That’s release date — when you can finally watch Addison Rae‘s She’s All That remake.

‘She’s All That’ premiered in 1999

She’s All That was an instant hit, premiering in 1999 and starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze, Jr. as Laney Boggs and Zack Siler. The film is set in California and tells the story of a popular high school jock who makes a bet with his equally popular buddies that he can befriend the most awkward/unpopular girl at school, and turn her into the knockout prom queen in just six weeks. Hilarity ensues, as Laney initially rejects Zack’s attempts to be her “friend,” then finally agrees to have a makeover and be his date at a party. Zack slowly begins to see Laney in a brand-new light, despite being able to have any other girl that he wants. But unfortunately, Laney soon finds out that she was nothing more than a “bet.”

Brokenhearted, Zack learns that Laney has agreed to go to the prom with his friend Dean, portrayed by the late Paul Walker, so he shows up at Laney’s house that night to warn her that Dean was planning to seduce her. The two finally share a kiss, and Zack is forced to keep up his end of the bet — appearing naked at graduation — much to Laney’s delight and amusement. The hit film also featured Matthew Lillard, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Anna Paquin, and Kieran Culkin.
