They all have plenty of charisma, uniqueness, and nerve, but some RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants even have hidden talents not seen during the reality competition series. Here are some surprising talents of these drag performers.

Miz Cracker is tri-lingual

She was a contestant on season 10 and a finalist on All-Stars 5. Although she didn’t showcase it during the reality series, Miz Cracker can speak French and Wolof. (According to NewNowNext, Miz Cracker also has a black belt in karate.)

“I speak sh*tty french and I speak Wolof which is the official language, or one of the official languages, of Senegal,” Miz Cracker said during the video with Them. “I used to work for a museum that specialized in African and, particularly, West African art.”

“So I was there for work and I had brushed up on my French so that I could speak to people easily,” she continued. “And I got there and most of the artists that I was working work spoke the Senegalese language, which is Wolof.”

Brooke Lynn Hytes is a professional ballet dancer

Her inclusion of pointe shoes for the “Trampy Trick or Treater” look was pretty iconic. Monster Ball aside, Brooke Lynn Hytes is a professional ballet dancer and drag queen. She also became the official host of Canada’s Drag Race.

Trixie Mattel plays more than just the guitar

She’s a legend, icon, and star. Outside of drag, Trixie Mattel is a musician with original songs on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

“Do you like how because I play a guitar they think that I’m sitting on an overturned milk bucket like ‘howdy,’” Trixie Mattel said when she interviewed the All-Stars 5 queens. Outside of RuPaul’s Drag Race, this drag queen is a chart-topping folk artist.

When it was time for the talent show on All-Stars 3, Trixie Mattel brought out her autoharp. When she impersonated Dolly Parton, Trixie Mattel had a guitar prop. Outside of the series, Trixie Mattel even performs songs like “Colors of the Wind” on her clarinet.

Katya knows karate

Her dad is literally a karate master and although Katya never got her black belt, she got pretty far in her training. This came in handy when she and Trixie Mattel reacted to Netflix’s Cobra Kai for their YouTube series, I Like to Watch.

Denali and Milk both ice skate

There’s a reason why Denali is called the “ice queen.” This performer on RuPaul’s Drag Race is also a figure skater, showing off her skates with her entrance look on the reality competition series. However, she wouldn’t be the first contestant who figure skates.

The season 6 and All-Stars 3 contestant, Milk is known for fashion and for skating, even though she couldn’t perform on the ice for the talent show.
