There’s a new character starting drama for the East High School drama department
When Miss Jenn announced East High would be performing Beauty and the Beast, there were a few characters who wanted the leading role. One of those was a new student named Lily. Although she looked like an actual Disney princess, according to Ashlyn, she was super mean when other people were auditioning.
As a result, she transferred to a nearby rival high school, causing plenty of drama in the process. This character also caused tension outside of her role with North High’s Beauty and the Beast production.
When Ricky and Nini were still together and taking some problems, she approached Ricky, saying, “Sounds like your girlfriend wants some space. Let me know if you’re looking for one who doesn’t.”
“She is definitely shaking things up,” Olivia Rose Keegan said of her character, Lily, during an interview with Hollywood Life. “Again, I think I can tie that back to her quality of determination. Her ambition is highly ambitious, and it takes her to some strange places. It’ll be interesting for people to see. I’m very excited. There’s definitely a bit of a little triangle going on.”
Ricky might’ve given Lily a second chance during ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ season 2
After the song “Second Chances,” performed by Ricky and other members of the East High drama department, several characters got new opportunities. Nini called Gina’s brother, who is a music producer. Gina asked to kiss EJ.
One of the last moments fans see of this character is Ricky calling Lily. Ricky didn’t know, however, that Lily was behind the failed transformation during the opening night of Beauty and the Beast. Did she deserve a second chance? Maybe not. However, fans will have to wait until future episodes to learn what happens to these theater nerds.
Will Ricky and Lily date in future episodes of this Disney+ original mockumentary?
They put on a great musical and gave up on the Menkie Awards. However, the future of these wildcats is still uncertain.
With one character saying that viewers are in for a hot summer, fans expect Ricky, Nini, and others to return for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3. Episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series are available on Disney’s streaming platform.
