‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’: Who Is Nini’s Best Friend?
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series featured plenty of outstanding cast members. That includes the secret talents of one character, named Kourtney, who is portrayed by Dara Reneé.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series introduced Disney+ subscribers to several talented students at East High School. There’s Ricky, who joined the cast to spend time with his ex-girlfriend. There’s Nini, who earned the role of Gabriella for her school’s production of High School Musical.
There’s also her best friend, named Kourtney, who did costumes for the show. These two were best friends long before joining the cast, though, confiding in each other regarding their relationships and high school drama.
It was quite a shock to Miss Jenn, and the rest of the cast, when Kourtney sang and was “insane,” but in a good way. While talking about it with Nini later, Kourtney confessed that it was a lot of fun.

She loves costume designing and secretly loves to perform. Reneé portrayed this character throughout season 1 of this Disney+ original. She then returned for the holiday special, where she performed “Believe.”
“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is about a group of teenagers who go to the high school where the original High School Musical was filmed,” Reneé said during an interview with Pop Culturalist. “They put on a production of High School Musical.”
“You get to see the drama and all the tea,” she continued. “It’s everything that real high school students go through while growing into their adolescence. My character is the costume designer. She’s a feminist. She speaks her mind while also looking fabulous. She really cares about all her friends. She wants to make sure that everybody is OK.”

With Miss Jenn’s “big plans,” Kourtney will presumably be stepping out of the wardrobe area and into the spotlight. Fans of this Disney+ original series learned that for the spring musical, they’ll be putting on a stage production of Beauty and the Beast.
However, they don’t exactly know what’s next for Nini, who recently got accepted into a performing arts high school. How will that impact her relationship with her best friend, as well as her boyfriend, Ricky?
