Boxing legend Mike Tyson and YouTube superstar-turned-boxer Jake Paul are gearing up for a must-see live event when the two meet in the ring for the fight their fans have been waiting for.

The much-anticipated Nov. 15 match, which will be streamed live on Netflix, is taking place in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, home to the NFL‘s Dallas Cowboys. A crowd of 70,000 is expected to attend.

Jake Joseph Paul was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Jan. 17, 1997. His older brother is fellow YouTube sensation Logan Paul. The siblings began filming themselves and posting to social media when Jake was 10 years old.

They amassed a large following and Jake gained a ton of recognition when the music video for his 2017 single “It’s Everyday Bro” went viral. He continued to record more tracks and launched the entertainment collective Team 10. He began acting as well and was featured on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark. By 2018, due to his various business ventures, Jake ranked second place on Forbes’ list of highest-paid YouTubers.

In 2020, Jake made his professional boxing debut against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib. Jake won the contest with a TKO in the first round. In 2022, Jake made Forbes’ list again, this time as one of the highest-paid athletes as he draws in millions of pay-per-view watchers. The following year, he signed a contract with the Professional Fighters League to compete in a new pay-per-view division.

Jake’s boxing record is 10-1 with seven knockouts.

Tyson also made headlines over the years for his legal troubles and financial woes. He was once one of the highest-paid athletes in the world with a net worth of more than $300 million but spent lavishly which later caused him to file for bankruptcy and publicly declare himself “broke.”

He later took steps to improve his public image by getting involved in philanthropy and charity work. He also appeared in several TV shows and movies, one of his most memorable was in The Hangover and The Hangover II.
