If you aren’t an NFL fan, you may not have known the names Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce until the latter began dating the biggest pop star in the world. Of course those who always watched football on Sundays knew exactly who the brothers were long before that as they are both tremendous athletes. But there’s no denying that Travis gained even more fame in every corner of the globe for his relationship with Taylor Swift.

In fact, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end‘s whole family got worldwide recognition they didn’t have before thanks to millions of Swifties. And that has translated to people paying even more attention to them off the field with other projects like their New Heights podcast for which the siblings inked a deal with Amazon’s Wondery worth more than $100 million over three years.

After the announcement was made the Kelce brothers released a statement via ESPN that said: “We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights. We love this show and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to New Heights! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”

Now some are wondering about their fortunes and who’s actually worth more. Here’s the answer to that, plus how much Jason is getting for his new gig following his retirement from the NFL.

On March 4, 2024, after an incredible 13-year career that included a Super Bowl win, Jason retired as the center for the Philadelphia Eagles. But fans knew they hadn’t seen the last of sports star on television and many predicted that networks would be fighting over who would land him.

That was the case as several reports claimed that ESPN, Fox, NBC, and CBS all tried to secure a deal to get him. Jason ended up choosing ESPN because that network gave him “full freedom” to continue working on his New Heights podcast with Travis.

Jason had this to say about joining the Walt Disney Company: “Turns out, it was a short retirement! I’m excited to join ESPN, and particularly the Monday Night Countdown team. ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports. To now appear on that same screen is a full-circle moment. And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”

While the exact details of Jason’s contract for the pregame show haven’t been released it was reportedly for north of $1.8 million over three years with a sign-on bonus of $1 million. During his playing career with the Birds, he earned around $86 million in total salary. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jason currently has a net worth of $50 million.

But is that more than his younger brother’s net worth?

If you guessed that Travis has a higher net worth than Jason you are correct.

After being drafted by the Chiefs in 2013, Travis inked a four-year deal for just over $3 million. He went on to sign a five-year $46 million extension in 2016. In late April 2024, Travis signed a two-year $34.25 million extension. That contract works out to an average annual salary of $17.1 million and will bring Travis’ career earnings to around $100 million.

The athlete has also raked in around $5 million a year in endorsement deals with a multitude of companies including McDonald’s, Papa John’s, Nike, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Tide, Bud Light, and State Farm to name a few. In 2023, Travis became an equity investor in Casa Azul Tequila, a brand his famous girlfriend has been seen drinking.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the football star currently has a net worth of $90 million.
