How Bachelor Nation Feels About Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan Now That They’re Official–’Who’s Gonna Take Her Place Next Week[?]’
Peter Weber has been spending time in Chicago with Kelley Flanagan since before shelter-in-place orders were given. In an interview with Nick Viall on The Viall Files, he said that he and Flanagan just kept running into each other after filming. First, at the Super Bowl, then, out with friends in Los Angeles. After the second run-in, Weber says he got the attorney’s phone number and they started to reconnect.
“It kind of became a thing where we’ve always gotten along really well and just had really good chemistry and we just enjoy each other’s company,” he said.
After plenty of rumors and source reveals, Weber and Flanagan have finally announced that they are officially dating.
“You caught me. Let the adventure begin,” Weber captioned an Instagram photo of him and Flanagan kissing in an airplane.

Weber received plenty of well-wishes from fellow Bachelor alums, friends, and family, but fans had a different reaction.
Some fans still feel that the pilot’s season was a waste of time thanks to all of the meaningless drama.
“you couldve decided this a couple months ago pete. wouldve saved all of us a little time (:” commented one fan on the post.
“I need a refund of 3 months back,” wrote another fan.
Fans will remember that Weber met Flanagan before filming began. They talked for about two hours at a hotel. Some fans are wishing Weber would have just moved forward with Flanagan then so that they wouldn’t have had to sit through the pilot’s overly dramatic season.
Other fans can’t let go of Weber’s indecisiveness.
“oof. only a few more contestants to go!!” wrote one fan.
“Cycling through them all again? 😂” commented another.
“who’s gonna take her place next week peter,” wrote another Instagram user.
“are you sure? i know you change your mind a lot,” wrote another.
Fans called Weber indecisive, claiming that he didn’t know what he wanted, up until the very end of his season. Even after the finale, he went from Hannah Ann Sluss to Madison Prewett to, now, Flanagan.
But Weber gives himself grace for being unsure of who he wanted to get engaged to. He says being the bachelor is an incredibly difficult gig that no one could understand the pressures of until they were in his shoes.
“I can understand being indecisive, because dating 30 women is not easy and that will never be easy and no one is prepared for that,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “So, I totally give myself grace for being indecisive in a moment that’s so confusing and so tough and it’s kind of rushed. You have deadlines, you have to let go of people, and that I’m OK with.”
He continued: “I’m not gonna say I feel like it was hidden from me, but I will fully accept and own that, yeah, there were a lot of moments where I was indecisive. But again, I give myself all the grace in the world ’cause it’s a tough situation to be in.”

Weber didn’t receive only negative feedback from fans with his post about his relationship with Flanagan.
“I’m so happy for you guys!” commented one fan.
“Yay!! Congrats😍” wrote another.
It seems like lots of fans are stuck on Peter The Bachelor rather than Peter The Boyfriend. Once the memory of Weber’s over-produced, far-too-dramatic, hard-to-watch season fades from fans’ minds, we’re sure they’ll come around.
