Former Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson is officially engaged.
The 21-year-old social media influencer recently shared the exciting news on her Instagram and fans can’t get over just how sweet her proposal was.
Though many of us have seen photos of Robertson’s fiancé, Christian Huff, on her Instagram every now and again, we are still curious to learn more about the man who has stolen Sadie’s heart.
We also want to know what the couple has planned to make their dream wedding come true?
They’ve only been dating for nine months
When you know it’s meant to be, why wait to make it official?
Sadie Robertson has always shared aspects of her life with her social media followers and this past weekend was no different.
The Dancing With The Stars alum took to Instagram to share that she is now engaged to her boyfriend, Christian Huff.
Along with a video of the proposal, Robertson captioned the post, “I screamed YES. so many words and so many more pictures to come, but for now just know my friends I’m the happiest human in the world on June 9th, 2019 today and for the rest of my life. I GET TO MARRY THIS MAN. God is faithful and so so good.”
Even though many of us are extremely happy for Sadie Robertson on her recent engagement, we can’t help want to know more about the Southern gentleman who asked for her hand in marriage?
Unlike Sadie, Christian Huff is a lot more private when it comes to social media.
Though we aren’t certain how they met, we do know Huff has been dating Robertson since September 2018 after sharing a post last month celebrating their eight-month anniversary.
Their wedding is going to be a romantic oasis
Now that Sadie Robertson is engaged to Christian Huff, they are very excited for what is ahead of them.
Though their engagement just happened, Sadie and Christian aren’t wasting any time to start planning their ideal wedding.
While speaking with E! News, Robertson revealed that she has “a lot to think about” when it comes to her nuptials.
“As soon as you say yes, it’s like, whoa, there are so many things to do,” the former reality star explains. “We’re not going to wait too long because we’re definitely ready to get our lives started together, so it will be soon than later, and just for the dress and the vision of it, you know, we’ve both, we’ve always wanted a night time wedding.”
She then shared that she and Huff want their wedding to a “romantic, elegant” nighttime ceremony, with “lights everywhere.”
On top of planning their dream wedding, one of the bigger tasks Sadie and Christian have to conquer is finding a venue that will accommodate all of their family and friends.
Sadie revealed that though their guest list is “huge,” she already has the perfect place in mind for her upcoming nuptials: her family home.
“I think it’s going to be really special. We want all of our friends and family there. We both have really big families and lots of friends who are so supportive,” Robertson reveals.
Sadie and Christian are looking to get married as soon as possible
Though Sadie Robertson and Christian Huff aren’t looking to rush their marriage, the couple is ready to make their forever home together.
Sadie revealed to E! that she and her fiancé aren’t moving in together until they are officially husband and wife.
“We’re kind of still working on what all of that’s going to look like and just kind of soak in the moment of yesterday, but yeah, we’ll wait until we’re married and then move in and make an official home,” she shared.
It’s safe to say that Sadie and Christian are looking forward to spending their lives together and we can’t wait to see how beautifully their dream wedding turns out.
