How Kourtney Kardashian’s BFF Addison Rae Really Feels About Her Romance With Travis Barker
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been dating for a few months now, and so far, only fans — and the Blink-182 drummer’s ex Shanna Moakler — have voiced their opinions on the couple’s budding romance.
While the Kardashian bunch has kept a tight lip on their feelings toward the Poosh founder’s new love, her BFF Addison Rae recently shared her thoughts on the relationship — and she had nothing but good things to say.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker started out as friends
Long before they started dating, Kardashian and Barker were just friends who just happened to be neighbors.
While the pair maintained a close friendship for years, their relationship turned romantic earlier this year when insiders confirmed that the two were officially dating.
“Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple,” a source told Us Weekly after Kardashian and Barker spent time together at Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs vacation home. “They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney.”
Meanwhile, a separate source told People that the two had been dating “for about a month or two,” adding, “They’ve been friends for a long time but it’s turned romantic. Travis has liked her for a while.”
The couple recently made their love permanent
In February 2021, Kardashian made her romance with Barker Instagram official by sharing a photo of their hands intertwined over Valentine’s Day weekend.
After that, the couple’s relationship got increasingly serious. Not only have they taken trips together several times over the last few months, but the pair have shared plenty of lovey-dovey photos of them packing on the PDA on their respective social media accounts.
Barker has even gushed about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star on national television.
“I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom, who’s a great friend,” he said of Kardashian while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show in March. “It just comes natural, it’s like a maturity thing. And I also really like missing someone and cherishing the time that I spend with them instead of every day being with them, especially in the beginning of the relationship. I think missing someone is so important.”
Since then, the celebrities have dropped the “L” word and have continued to put their romance on full display for all to see.
Recently, the drummer took his love for the mother of three to the next level by not only getting her name tattooed on his chest but allowing her to write “I love you” in permanent ink on his arm!
Addison Rae ‘loves’ Kourtney and Travis together
With Kardashian and Barker’s love continuing to blossom, many people can’t seem to get enough of the couple’s adorable relationship.
Even Kardashian’s best friend Addison Rae is a huge fan of their romance and recently gushed about the pair while attending the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
“I’m obsessed,” the TikTok star told Entertainment Tonight of Kardashian’s relationship with Barker while on the red carpet. “I’m obsessed. I love Kourtney and I love Travis, they’re both amazing people and I wish them the best, they’re so cute.”
Even though the Kardashians haven’t publicly reacted to Kourt’s romance with Barker, at least we know that their relationship has Rae’s stamp of approval!
