Like many modern-day relationships, Grande and Miller’s love story began with a tweet.

Not long after she posted the tweet, Miller responded with, “the velvet revival,” marking the start of their first-ever conversation. Eventually, the rapper asked to do a duet with the singer, which she agreed to.
The pair then teamed up to do a cover of the Christmas classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside” just in time for the holiday season.
A few months later, the two collaborated again on Grande’s 2013 song “The Way.” Miller was also featured in the music video, in which they flirted throughout and even shared a kiss at the end.
As expected, the video sparked romance rumors, with many pointing out Grande and Miller’s undeniable chemistry.
But Miller eventually shut down romance speculation, telling MTV News, “That’s the homie. She’s got a boyfriend and everything. Obviously, that [kiss] made everyone talk. I didn’t even know that was going to happen and then we were shooting and the director was like, ‘This should happen,’ and I’m like, ‘Alright.'”
