How Many Kids Did Cardi B Want With Offset?
Cardi B had plans of having more children with her husband, rapper Offset, before she decided to file for divorce.
In September 2020, Cardi confirmed she and Offset were ending their marriage after three years. Cardi claimed she and her husband weren’t on the same page, and she wanted to avoid any more issues between them by deciding to file. The couple share one daughter together- Kulture Kiari Cephus, 2. Fans of Cardi’s have often seen her and Offset sharing precious moments with their daughter on social media.
Although Cardi is frequently busy managing her superstardom, she wanted to focus on her family just one year before things started to go south between her and Offset. She even said she planned on expanding her family with Offset in 2019.
Cardi B said she would have as many kids as her ‘body can take’ with Offset
In February 2019, Cardi spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how her life was going after she decided to work on her marriage with Offset for a second time. The couple separated back in December 2018 after Offset was allegedly unfaithful to Cardi during their marriage. Several months later, the couple reconciled and were focused on bettering themselves for Kulture.
After sharing that she and Offset would “always be a family” because of their baby girl, Cardi admitted she would like more children with her husband in the future. As for a specific number, Cardi said it depended on how much she can physically handle after giving birth to one child already.
“I want to have more kids,” Cardi shared. “Whatever my body can take, and I feel like I can take it. It’s so easy for people to be like, ‘Oh, I want four or five kids.’ But it’s like, ‘Can you really take that?'”
Offset has three other children outside of his marriage to Cardi B
Before Cardi and Offset secretly got married in 2017, the Migos rapper was a father of three. His children Jordan, Kody, and Kalea, have been embraced by Cardi and she has said how much she loves her stepchildren.

While Cardi claims she has a good relationship with Offset’s kids, she hasn’t been able to carry the positivity over with some of Offset’s exes. In April 2020, Hot 97 reported that Offset’s ex and the mother of Offset’s daughter, Kalea, screenshotted a text from a conversation they had in 2018. Nicole Algarin shared the post on Instagram, which showed Offset asking her to have sex with him. She also claimed she exposed her ex because he refuses to see their daughter.
“I was going to refrain from posting but him and his h** too disrespectful after I’ve been trying to be cordial and empathetic! I found out same time the world did that they was married and he been cut off since then!!! Stop f*cking playing with my name!!!”
Cardi B says being a mother to Kulture ‘means everything’ to her
While Cardi and Offset might not have another child together anytime soon, their marriage brought Cardi’s greatest joy: Kulture. Since she shared her daughter with the world for the first time in 2018, fans have watched as Kulture continues to grow and become a fashionista like her mom.

Cardi credits Kulture for giving her a positive moment when she’s feeling overwhelmed with work. Cardi also said her daughter’s needs are all the mother of one focuses on each day.
“It’s like love, joy, it’s a switch,” Cardi said about raising Kulture. “It’s her automatic smile. It’s automatic worries and [feelings of sadness]. My baby had a cold and I felt so sad, and I wanted to cry, and [I was] so worried. And I think I mean everything to her.”
