Lil’ Kim has had many titles over the years, including being the original Queen Bee. But on top of being a legendary rapper, Kim is also a proud mother.

Lil’ Kim gave birth to her first child, Royal Reign, in June 2014. She was 39 years old when she gave birth, and rang in her 40th birthday the following month as a new mom. She welcomed her daughter with her boyfriend, a rapper named Mr. Papers.
Kim is a proud momma and has spoken many times about her love for her “bestie.” She spoke about home-schooling her daughter during the coronavirus pandemic and how kind of a personality she’s begun developing in a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “My daughter is understanding; she is so smart,” she said, noting her A+ grades.

While Lil’ Kim was recording Hard Core in 1996, she discovered that she was pregnant with The Notorious B.I.G.’s child. They were seeing each other while Biggie was married to Faith Evans.
Rather than have the baby, Kim chose to have an abortion. She told The Source magazine in 1999, “I already knew the kind of relationship that Biggie and I had, and I knew that [having a child] was something that couldn’t take place.”

Kim also spoke about the family that she’s built with Mr. Papers over the years, and how it continues to grow as they grow together. “Everything’s wonderful,” she said of her home life. “We’re a really happy family.”
Many of Mr. Papers’ posts on Instagram are dedicated to his longtime girlfriend or their beautiful daughter. “I’m just training my baby to be a warrior like daddy!” he said with a video of her working out at the gym. “Don’t play with my twin, ya heard!”
In a December 2020 post, he shared a video of himself and his daughter laying in bed, and he noted how much she resembles her mother. “You guys, he’s just a little out of his mind,” she whispered adorably.
Mr. Papers wants to have another baby with Lil’ Kim
With such a beautiful relationship between them, it’s no surprise that Mr. Papers wants to expand their family. Kim has always been authentic in everything she does, and her desire to have a loving family is no different.
“I do what I feel and I’m unapologetic about it too,” Kim shared in a 2019 interview with Us Weekly. “A lot of times we mess up because sometimes we don’t have the time. Sometimes there’s things that just go completely wrong you’ll never know about, but I just go with what I feel.”
In the comments under a July 2020 Instagram post, Mr. Papers responded to a fan asking if he planned on having another child with the “Crush On You” rapper. “We want another one with Kim. Remy preg, now [it’s] time for Kim,” the fan said. Papers responded by saying, “We[‘re] two steps ahead of you.”
