Melissa McCarthy is a slapstick funny actress who also possesses the ability to pull at her audience’s heartstrings when appropriate. She is best remembered for her roles in Tammy, Identity Thief, and Can You Ever Forgive Me?

McCarthy married to fellow actor/producer, Ben Falcone. The two have been together for over 20 years and married for 14 of those. The way they support and love one another (not to mention work so well together) has put them into Hollywood couple’s hall of fame.

Fans wonder how many children the famous comedic couple have, and how old are they? Here’s what we know.

McCarthy has two daughters with Ben Falcone. Their oldest daughter, Vivian Falcone, was born on May 5, 2007, which makes her 11 years old. Their youngest daughter, Georgette, was born on March 22, 2010. She is now 8 years old.

The girls made appearances in ‘The Boss’

Both of McCarthy’s daughters made their first on-screen debuts in the 2016 film, The Boss. The movie stars McCarthy, who plays the role of a business tycoon that loses her fortune after being convicted of insider trading and is then sent to prison. After her time in prison, the tycoon makes a comeback by starting up a brownie company with her former assistant, played by Kristen Bell. A portion of the brownie sales go towards each child’s college fund.

Vivian, who at the time was 8 years old, played the role of her mother’s character at age 7. The flashback shows her being returned to the orphanage. Georgette, then aged 6, appears as one of the girls who are selling the brownies.

‘The Boss’ isn’t the start of something bigger

Melissa McCarthy said in an interview that her children’s roles in The Boss is not the start of something bigger. After consistent begging to be in the movie, Vivian eventually did well enough that she was given her small role. Once Georgette knew her sister was in the movie, she wanted to be too. McCarthy says, however, that she told her girls they “can do it again right after college.”

One-on-one time with mom

Despite a schedule that is beyond hectic at times, Melissa McCarthy makes time to spend one-on-one with each of her girls. She has been photographed running errands, grabbing a bite to eat, and doing some shopping with each child individually. When doing so, the family shows their casual, laid-back style that is starkly in contrast with the average Hollywood getup.

A casual pair of leggings with comfortable tee shirt and matching laid-back hair style tend to be the norm for McCarthy and her children when not on set or going to a Hollywood event.

Trying to raise “normal” kids

Melissa McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, have stated several times that they are just trying to let their family be as normal as possible. While their normal may not be the same as everyone else’s, the two parents have successfully kept their kids mostly out of the limelight. The girls are expected to participate in normal activities, like school, family movie time, and hanging out with their parents.

Vivian is her mom’s mini-me

Vivian Falcone looks just like her famous mother – hence why she was chosen to play mom’s younger character in The Boss. The resemblance is uncanny, with Vivian looking like Melissa McCarthy’s little clone.

Georgette is all girl

Georgette Falcone is all girl. She loves having her picture taken, and is really into makeup. She is often seen wearing clothes with sparkles, frills, and other things considered girly. This is in stark contrast to her oldest sister’s more casual style.
