Patti was born in May 1961 and was adopted by Rhoda and Ira Stanger, who also worked as matchmakers. She grew up in Short Hills, New Jersey and later graduated from the University of Miami.
It wasn’t long after earning her degree that Stanger began working in the dating industry as the marketing director for a website called Great Expectations. But she wasn’t content to work for someone else for long and eventually launched her now-famous business, The Millionaire’s Club.
