Ella Bleu Travolta was born into stardom thanks to her movie-star parents, John Travolta and Kelly Preston. Unfortunately, Ella has already gone through a few tragedies in her life, like the loss of her mother and brother. But she’s still sticking around in the spotlight, and we imagine she’s here to stay. It looks like Ella is following right in her parents’ footsteps. She’s known for her roles in Old Dogs, The Poison Rose, though it’s unclear if she’ll continue this trajectory as she ages. She appears to have a great relationship with her father, too. She and John appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in 2019.
“I’ve grown up on sets my whole life,” Ella explained while on the talk show. “So, I absolutely love that. … I actually lost my first tooth with Oprah [Winfrey] on a boat.”
Ella then explained a funny story involving Taylor Lautner coming to her house. Lautner and his family were invited over, and John told the Lautners that Ella was busily looking them up on the internet prior to their arrival. This deeply embarrassed Ella, though the father-daughter duo can laugh about it now.
“A father’s point of view is, everybody loves Taylor Lautner. Wouldn’t he be flattered that Ella’s looking him up?” John tried to defend.

So, how old is Ella now? She’s 20 years old currently, and she’ll be turning 21 in April 2021.
Ella has siblings as well. Benjamin Travolta turned 10 years old in 2020. But sadly, Jett Travolta died in 2009. He was 16 years old at the time.
Jett was autistic and prone to seizures. He reportedly died after hitting his head in the bathtub.
“Nobody should have to lose a child,” Preston stated. “It’s unfathomable. But I’m here to say that you can get through it. You can live again. You can want to live again.”
Not only did Ella lose a sibling, but she also lost her mom. Preston died in 2020 due to breast cancer. Ella remembered her mother on Instagram, Deadline reports.
“I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you,” Ella wrote. “Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy. Thank you for being there for me no matter what. Thank you for your love.”

It looks like John and Ella are taking it way back with their dance moves more recently. Yahoo notes a new Super Bowl 2021 commercial shows the father-daughter duo dancing. Martha Stewart, Leslie David Baker, Carl Weathers, and NASCAR driver Kyle Busch also join in.
In the commercial, Travolta is dancing on a lawn in front of a phone camera, and Ella tells him he’s not working the technology right. Finally, the duo starts doing a TikTok dance together. The sweet interaction is sure to bring a smile to Super Bowl fans everywhere, and everyone will adore seeing both John and Ella together on the small screen.
We’re excited to see where Ella goes with her career moving forward. For now, we can look forward to the Super Bowl ad with her ultra-famous father!
