Shark Tank Season 13 premieres tonight on ABC, and this season looks to be one of the best yet. The reality TV series gives entrepreneurs a chance to make it big when they pitch their products to investors like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Fubu founder Daymond John. How to watch ‘Shark Tank’ Season 13

Shark Tank premieres Oct. 8, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET and those who are interested have a few different options when it comes to watching it. The show airs on ABC, but those without typical TV channels can watch as well. There are a few platforms that offer live-streaming options.

Hulu Live offers a free seven-day trial which would give fans access if they have a streaming device like Roku or Amazon’s Fire Stick. After the initial trial, the cost is around $65 a month. Both fuboTV and Philo offer free trials of their services as well.

‘Shark Tank’ guest investors this season include actor Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart might be known for making people laugh, but he’s also a successful entrepreneur himself. He’s created two companies – Hartbeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud. Hartbeat Productions is an entertainment studio, while Laugh Out Loud is Hart’s take on a subscription streaming service focusing on comedy.

Hart, a native from North Philadelphia, announced on his Instagram in August that he would appear on the Emmy-winning series. He might be there for comic relief, but Hart’s no stranger to business strategy. There’s a chance he’ll be one of the toughest sharks yet.

The show will welcome its first-ever female Black shark

Shark Tank will open the season with its first-ever female Black investor in a refreshing move for the show. On TV Insider, Matt Roush noted her impressive resume. “To open the long-running reality show’s 13th season, the Tank welcomes its first Black female guest Shark: Emma Grede, CEO of the fashion world’s Good American and founding partner of SKIMS. She’ll hear pitches alongside her fellow potential investors from entrepreneurs hailing from Philadelphia, Cincinnati, New York City—and from a high-school art teacher from Burnet, Texas, who’s come up with a new way to store jewelry on the go.”

Longtime shark Barbara Corcoran recently made the headlines for all the wrong reasons

Tonight’s premiere isn’t the only reason Shark Tank has been in the news lately. Since the first season, Barbara Corcoran has been an investor on the series. She recently made an appearance on the daytime talk show The View. During her appearance, the Shark Tank veteran commented on the size of host Whoopie Goldberg and the comment fell flat.

Later, however, Corcoran took to Twitter to apologize to Goldberg, who she referred to as an old friend. “I just came back from The View and saw my old friend Whoopi. As you well know, she has a phenomenal sense of humor, and I’ve known Whoopi for years. I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny. For anyone who I may have offended unintentionally, I just wanted to say, I really am very sorry.” The caption read, “Love ya Whoopi,” with a heart emoji.

Shark Tank airs Fridays this fall on ABC.
