Inside ‘American Idol’ Judge Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s Mansions From Beverly Hills to Montecito
American Idol judge Katy Perry and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. The following year they welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, and are raising their baby girl in two lavish California properties.
Here’s a look inside the mansions Bloom and Perry share in Beverly Hills and Montecito.
Bloom put his Beverly Hills bachelor pad on the market
For years, Perry’s husband-to-be called an ultra-modern property in Beverly Hills home. However, he decided to put that bachelor pad on the market now that he and the “Californa Girls” singer are getting married.
Bloom bought the home in 2017 for $7 million. The 4,000 square-foot house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and boasts stunning ocean views. It exemplifies indoor-outdoor living with an open floor plan and sliding walls of glass that lead from the pool and spa area into a sunken living room and other parts of the house.
The English actor first listed the mansion for around $8.9 million in March 2019 after he proposed to Perry. But later dropped the price to $8.5 million.
Bloom and Perry’s Beverly Hills mansion
The Beverly Hills estate Perry and Bloom reside at together cost nearly $18 million.
The mansion is located in the gated community of Coldwater Canyon. It’s 5,427 square feet and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Some of the amenities on the property include a double-edged infinity pool, a veranda, a driveway for up to 20 cars, a large garden, and spectacular views of the woody canyon.
Perry has shared some glimpses inside the home via social media. Just days before Daisy was born, she showed her little girl’s nursery which has pink walls, purple curtains, and a white crib.
Their Montecito property
Perry and Bloom also have a residence located in Santa Barbara’s Montecito neighborhood. Many fans have heard of that area thanks to its other famous residents such as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and Oprah Winfrey.
The duo purchased the house for $14.2 million in 2020. It has more than 7,000 square feet with six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, as well as a detached guest house. The residence also boasts a pool cabana. Bloom has shared images of the property showing off his office space and multiple arched garages.
During an appearance on Live with Ryan and Kelly, Perry was asked about what around the house interests Daisy. “I think if you gave all of the toys that you ever wanted to a kid they would still want to touch electrical outlets,” the “Dark Horse” artist said. “I think–I don’t even know if this is on the market–but someone should make like a plushy electrical outlet or something.”
“The goal is to keep them away from them and not make them more enticing,” host Kelly Ripa interjected, before Perry joked that “plushy” could be for “reverse psychology.”
