Inside Ciara and Russell Wilson’s Sprawling Lake Washington Mansion
NFL quarterback Russell Wilson has spent the last decade playing for the Seattle Seahawks but on March 8, it was announced that the signal-caller was being traded to the Denver Broncos. Wilson and his wife, Ciara, have owned a sprawling lakefront residence in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue for several years. It’s not known yet if they plan on selling that estate.
Here’s a look inside the gorgeous lakeview mansion where the couple has lived since 2015.
Where Ciara lived before she and Wilson moved in together
Before she moved to Washington State with Wilson, Ciara called Atlanta, Georgia home.
The “Level Up” singer lived in a luxurious condo she bought in 2006 for $680,000. Sometime in 2015, she decided to sell it. She took a loss though when it sold for $520,000.
Despite that financial loss, Ciara has done well for herself. She is now married to the NFL star and resides in a magnificent mansion located in an affluent area outside Seattle that is home to some of the richest people in the world including Bill Gates.
Inside the couple’s lakefront mansion just outside Seattle and another in San Diego
The power couple has not just one but two amazing properties. One is a Spanish-style villa in San Diego. That estate boasts a huge swimming pool and a football field in the backyard where Wilson has hosted offseason workouts with his teammates. But their primary residence is their Bellevue home on Lake Washington.
The lakeview mansion was purchased for $6.7 million. It’s a whopping 10,000 square-foot home that sits on 84 feet of high-bank waterfront. The house has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Some of its grand details include marble floors, elegant chandeliers, winding staircases with iron railings, and a custom kitchen featuring cabinets hand-carved by Romanian artists. There’s also a spacious center island, a walk-in pantry, and a wine cellar that can house up to 2,000 bottles.
Some other amenities their compound has are five fireplaces, several skylights for natural light, and panoramic views of the lake from every room of the house. In addition there’s a media room, a gym, a swimming pool, and a private dock for boating.
Wilson surprised his mom on Mother’s Day when he bought her a new house
Wilson also bought another property for his mother, Tammy Wilson.
On Mother’s Day 2019, loved ones captured the moment that the quarterback handed her the key to her new house. Tammy was in disbelief for a minute and then the tears of joy came as she made her way up the steps and into her abode.
The signal-caller shared his mom’s reaction on YouTube and Instagram and captioned the video: “All these years you have never asked me for anything … only thing you ever wanted is for me to LOVE. Well thanks for loving us the way you do. This ones for you. I love you momma.”
