Love Is Blind hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey have been married since 2011 and today have three children together. Over the years the family has lived in some beautiful homes and they recently sold another lovely property in California’s San Fernando Valley region to Naomi Osaka.

Here’s a look inside their former mansion that the tennis superstar just purchased.

Nick and Vanessa moved their family to Hawaii recently

In 2021, the couple decided to move to Hawaii while Vanessa was filming the show NCIS: Hawai’i.

Vanessa spoke to Entertainment Tonight about that decision explaining: “This is a thing that would take our whole family out of the mainland and bring them very far away, and [Nick] was on board to support me. I told the kids and they were gung ho because they think that Hawaii is water slides, play. I ask them all the time, ‘Are you happy or no?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah!’… They’re island babies. I didn’t even realize I had island babies until I brought them here.”

Inside the Lacheys former Los Angeles home that Osaka just bought

Back in the states, Mr. and Mrs. Lachey had been residing in a lovely Tarzana mansion they purchased in 2020 for $5.1 million. But as Dirt and Architectural Digest reported, the couple just unloaded that home in an off-market deal and sold it to Osaka for $6.3 million.

Osaka’s new abode is located in a suburban neighborhood of Los Angeles County about 40 minutes away from downtown LA. The home has more than 6,800 square feet and boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It also features hardwood floors throughout, an open-living plan, a formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen with dual islands, and top-of-the-line stainless appliances.

Some other amenities of the property include a home gym, a game room, a media lounge, a wet bar, and a temperature-controlled wine cellar. The backyard is very large and has a two-story playhouse, a fire pit, a patio, a pool, and a built-in BBQ, all with views of the Santa Susana mountains around it.

But perhaps what really drew Osaka to the home is a sunken full-size basketball court which she can easily convert to a tennis court. It even has lights for primetime play.

The home isn’t the only home Osaka owns in LA county or even the first she bought from a singer named Nick.

The tennis pro also has a place in Beverly Hills which she purchased from Nick Jonas in 2019.

Osaka shelled out $6.9 million for Jonas’ former bachelor pad located in California’s most famous zip code. AD noted that just like with the Lachey’s, the deal also happened off-market.
