Zoë Kravitz slammed Will Smith on social media after he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars

On Mar. 28, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage after the comedian made a joke about Smith’s wife. He poked fun at Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair, and the Red Table Talk host has been open about having alopecia. After returning to his seat in the audience, the Suicide Squad actor shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth!”

Zoë Kravitz, who attended the award ceremony and has been busy promoting her movie The Batman, took to social media to share her opinion of the incident.

On Mar. 29, Kravitz posted an Instagram photo of her Oscars outfit, a strapless pale pink gown. She captioned the image, “Here’s a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.”

She then shared another Instagram post showing off her look for the after-party, a high-necked white gown with a large cutout in the back. Kravitz captioned the photo, “And here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”

Old comments Zoë Kravitz made about Jaden Smith resurfaced after the ‘Batman’ star dissed Will Smith

After Zoë Kravitz made comments about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, fans were quick to dig up old remarks the Batman star made about the King Richard star’s son, Jaden Smith.

The three actors all appeared in the 2013 movie After Earth. Kravitz was 23 years old at the time, while Jaden Smith was 14. In a June 2013 interview with V Magazine, Kravitz said (per Daily Mail), “There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you.”

She added, “He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, when you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out … Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”
