Is Angela Kinsey From ‘The Office’ Married?
Actress Angela Kinsey is best known for playing the role of Angela Martin on The Office.
While Office Angela is known for being harsh, unfriendly, and a stickler for the rules, real-life Angela Kinsey is anything but. Kinsey has a vibrant, bubbly personality and she’s even besties with Jenna Fischer, who played Angela’s frenemy, Pam, on the show. In an interview with Vulture, Fischer said of Kinsey, “My first impression of Angela was that she was very tiny and wouldn’t stop talking.”
Office Angela and real-life Angela do have some similarities, however. They both have an affinity for cats, and they both end up with the man of their dreams.
How did Angela Kinsey meet her husband?
Though on the show, Angela is a strangely perfect match with the odd love-to-hate character, Dwight (Rainn Wilson), real-life Angela ended up with someone very different, dreamy TV actor Joshua Snyder.
The story goes that Kinsey met Snyder, not at an award show or glitzy Hollywood event, but in their local grocery store. The two were friends for a time, as were their children, before eventually dating and getting engaged in August of 2016.
The engagement was a family affair, with Joshua calling in the help of his sons, Cade and Jack, and Angela’s daughter Isabel to participate in the romantic backyard proposal. They didn’t stay engaged for long and got married just a couple months later on November 13, 2016.
Where was Angela Kinsey’s wedding?
The Kinsey/ Snyder wedding was small and intimate, with only 130 guests. It took place at The 1909, a charming and rustic wedding venue in Topanga, California. Kinsey wore a simple off-shoulder Greek goddess style dress, and Snyder, a navy suit and a modern plaid tie. It was a sunny day full of joy and love.
Of the occasion, Kinsey said, “Our wedding was more than just two people coming together, it was a family coming together.” At the reception, the children each gave a speech and Kinsey said, “It was truly moving. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room! We saved their speeches and are going to frame them!”
Who was Kinsey married to before?
Kinsey was previously married to writer Warren Lieberstein from 2000 to 2010. Warren wrote for The Office and is Paul Lieberstein’s brother, best known for his role as Toby on the show.
The couple split after citing “irreconcilable differences.” Lieberstein remarried the same year as Kinsey, to writer/director/producer Audrey Wauchope.
Snyder’s two sons are from his previous marriage, the details of which are largely unknown by the media.
‘Baking with Josh & Ange’
The couple now jointly hosts an online baking show called Baking with Josh & Ange. The show was originally Baking with Josh, but now that the two are married they work together, kind of.
According to their own bio, “Josh bakes and Angela chats while trying her best to keep up.”
The show has a casual vibe as the couple sits in their kitchen and creates delicious baked goods. They sometimes bring in special guests, many of whom were Kinsey’s castmates on The Office.
The show really gives you an inside view of the couple’s bond and their tight-knit friendships.
Does Angela Kinsey have kids?
Kinsey is still close with several of her castmates from The Office, most particularly Jenna Fischer and Oscar Nunez, and regularly posts photos of their adventures out together on Instagram.
Snyder and Kinsey both often post photos of their blended family of five and their cats, Oreo and Snickers, and dogs, Biscuit and Buster.
