Is Chris Brown’s Ex, Karrueche Tran, Headed Down The Aisle?
Former New York Giants player, Victor Cruz, is in love and not ashamed to share it! The 33-year-old has been dating Emmy-award winning actress, Karrueche Tran, since 2017. After a turbulent relationship with singer Chris Brown, Tran found serenity in Cruz and hasn’t looked back.
Cruz recently hinted that he may be popping the question to Tran and is ready to jump the broom!

Cruz stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to talk about his new gig as a co-host of Pop of the Morning on E!. It was Cruz’s first appearance on the daytime talk show, prompting Williams to learn more about the star’s personal life – including his relationship with Tran.
After Cruz split with his longtime love, he met Tran through a mutual friend and they developed their own friendship.
“I would see her around and we would have conversations, but as I got reintroduced to her through a mutual friend, I was like, ‘I gotta take a shot at this if I want her to be my girl and I want to take her seriously, I gotta take a shot,’” he explained.
He later invited Tran to a private party he was having for his birthday where he officially asked her out. The two went to a dine-in style theater for a showing of Cruz’s favorite movie, Pulp Fiction. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
In an interview with Big Boi’s Neighborhood last July, Tran gushed that her relationship with Cruz is her first experience with true love. She also said their relationship works because he’s supportive of her blossoming acting career, which is something she didn’t have in her relationship with Brown.
“I can put myself first, but I can also love someone else at the same time. There’s room for both,” she said. “I think before I was just putting too much energy into one and not giving a bleep about myself.”
Tran also opened up about how “refreshing” it is to be in a healthy relationship. “He’s so sweet, like a really nice guy,” she told Us Weekly in May 2016. “He’s genuinely kind and it’s so refreshing to be with such a kind, great guy,” she said. “And it doesn’t hurt that his body is bangin’!”

In true William’s fashion, the talk show host was able to get Cruz to talk about future plans for him and Tran. He’s already the father of a little girl, Kennedy, whom he shares with his former fiancee, Elaina Watley. Cruz says that he hopes to expand his family.
“I want my little boy. I want my little football player,” he said. When asked what will happen if he’s blessed with another girl instead of a boy, he confirmed he’d “love her the same.” But before adding more babies, Williams questioned if Cruz foresees a wedding with Tran.
Cruz says he loves Tran enough to make her his wife, which received a round of applause from the audience. This isn’t the first time Cruz has gushed over Tran or has spoken about plans to take his relationship with her to the next level.
“She’s very much the one for me,” he told US Weekly, according to Page Six in October 2018 when asked if he planned on proposing to the Claws star. “I love her very much. We’re still growing and learning things about each other as we’re going along.”
Over the summer, Cruz tweeted how much Tran makes him giddy, writing, “I’m a grown a** man and still get butterflies every time I think about my lady. This love thing has no age bracket.”
Maybe Tran and Cruz will be added to the list of celebrity engagements and weddings in 2020!
